Hello !

I ve got a 1070 sc with the stock bios and I have a little problem...

Sometimes, I have that on fifa, this is a very quick flash screen, nearly invisible, I sometimes have the feeling  I just blinked my eyes but that's not that...

I dont have that on high demanding games and I have the last drivers...

Any idea?

Thanks

If it happens with just one game or just one game engine, then I'd blame the game and the game engine.

If there is a support forum for that game, or a way to submit a bug report, I'd use that to contact the game developers about that problem.

You can also try newer GPU drivers, or if you are already using them then an older set like 373.06 that can be found here - http://www.nvidia.com/Dow.oad/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

Since the new VBIOS just updates the fan curve an additional 400RPM, I would say that it wouldn't fix that issue.

There has been a lot of discussion in the NVidia forums about screen flicker on high refresh monitors, and perhaps an issue with certain games.  Browsing the driver feedback threads should reveal a lot of those issues folks are having.

Light issues ingame... :( Monday, November 28, 2016 2:56 PM (permalink)
    Hello !

I know its not very visible but in GTA V low/very high graphics it doesnt change anything..

Look at the video and look at the green fridge at the last second, you can see that the gamma or contrast changers, its not a big deal but I dont understand why...

I know that I changed my bios to the last version I dont think its the reason but I dont know how to fix that :(

First, did you see what I mean after looking the video ?

    Thanks

Yes, it could fix the problem. Give it a try... http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-1070-BIOS-Update-v8604500070-m2565056.aspx

If the vbios update doesn't fix it try enabling debug mode inside the nvidia control panel to see if it helps get rid of the flash.

In fact I realised its always in same kind of situation...

I think its a light issue... when I move the camera of the game and suddenly stop the move, the lightning doesnt change quick enough and so made some curious thing like flashing, its only visible if you pay attention...

Dont know what to do :(

I'm guessing that it is your monitor (or TV) that is doing that. I know that with my TV with auto brightness enabled it can change the light levels based on what is on the screen and how bright the ambient light levels are.

If that is the case it has nothing to do with the video card, drivers, or software and everything to do with the monitor/TV.

Just looks like the game engine changing the lighting depending on where you look. That isn't a problem.

    Hi,

I watched the video a few times and also am unable to make out anything.  Can you confirm the times on the video when you see the issue?

I could definitely see "something" on the Dishonored video but it's impossible for me to tell if it's a game bug or caused by the GPU.

So I loaded up a save game and went to the same place and was able to duplicate the issue you were seeing.  My guess it's a weird light bug in the game.
