Is it possible to turn these connectors upside down.
Because on my GPU locker is on top.  But still I have problem fan connector. I could remove him because GPU is on water but I would like to stay connected.

If not I need to bend VGA Cable on side because it's only 3.5cm to side panel.
GPU barely fit, but he fit 1cm is from glass to widest part of graphic card.

Update: NO, they are Not reversible.  You Would reverse the Ground & Power - So, they are Made to Only install 1 way

[The locking clip on the removable adapter would stop you from accidentally reversing those parts]

I'm not sure - the documents do not actually say they do ---> I'll check the one I have on the shelf & report back

Been using a Powerlink with my 1080ti FTW3 for a couple of years.  Started losing picture to my monitors and after removing the Powerlink everything working fine.  Thinking that the Powerlink was the issue, I purchased a new one but after a month same issue.  And when I remove the Powerlink, everything is fine.  Bad luck with another bad Powerlink?  Using an EVGA 850 G+ PSU.

I answered my own question .  looks like on the 30 series, the ports are to far away for the arm to reach.  hopefully evga makes an update version of this product :)

Re: EVGA PowerLink Compatibility 2021/03/05 08:18:20 (permalink)
Confirmed that an EVGA PowerLink will fit the EVGA RTX 3060 XC (12G-P5-3655-KR, 12G-P5-3657-KR).  Guessing it will also fit the similar RTX 3060Ti XC (08G-P5-3663-KR).

Also confirm (no pic yet) that it will NOT fit the RTX 3070 XC3 (08G-P5-3755-KR).  Presumably this means that it won't fit the nearly identical RTX 3070 XC3's (08G-P5-3751-KR, 08G-P5-3753-KR) and RTX 3060Ti FTW3's (08G-P5-3665-KR, 08G-P5-3667-KR).  RTX 3080 and 3090 XC3's look similar to the 3070 design, but no idea if the fitment is also an issue.  No samples to test...

It could be done with a new product I guess. It does clean up the cables a bit but I wonder on a 3090 about the room since it could be blocking airflow for such a wide card.

The powerlink fits the 3070 xc3 ultra cause I'm using it on mine now. This card is getting stepped up to the 3090 this week, I just haven't sent it out yet.

Where's the compatibility list you're finding that on?

https://www.evga.com/support/faq/FAQdetails.aspx?faqid=59659

Your card is 11G-P4-2389-KR, which is NOT on that list.

Under compatibility on the EVGA PowerLink product page.

It is listed as an 11G-P4-2389-BR.

(Got it as a refurb from EVGA so mine actually ends with RX.)

Unless your packaging actually has 2389-BR, you're in trouble.

If yours says "RX", it's not on the compatible list.
If EVGA goofed and gave you a different card..Well...A bit late at this juncture.  And kinda pointless for a purely cosmetic issue.

It would be nice if they could update this list for 3000 series.  Also confirming it works on the 3060 12GB(12G-P5-3657-KR) but definitely not the 3070 TI FTW3  (08G-P5-3797-KL).

I like the concept but after reading many posts, the construction just seems a bit on the cheap side and also many complaints of fitment, since what they needed to do is build 2 versions, one for Type-A (clips on bottom) and Type-B (clips on top), surprised this never came up during development. I hope they reconsider one for the 30 series and clean up the development some.

EVGA only has clips facing one way, and EVGA created a piece of hardware for their own products, so why would they make it compatible to other companies? That should be on the other companies to make their own.
