Hi I just ordered a new 1070 ftw card and right after heard about the overheating issue will the cards being sent out come with thermal pads installed, is it fixed, or am I going to have to do it or request for them?

    You may be ok mate as you have said you just bought it,check it over when it arrives.

    Really isn't an over heating issue. Could they have done a much better job on making sure everything that generates heat is cooled, yes. I would not worry about it though.

    Thermal pads will already be applied if you bought directly from the evga online store.
