Hey everyone. I just bought an EVGA SuperNOVA 1050 GS PSU and looking around a see a lot of complaints about this particular PSU. Basically it lasts 1 year if you're lucky at which time it starts having an issue where it won't turn back on once the computer is powered off.
Are there any of you out there that have been using this PSU for 2+ years without any issues? Help to put my mind at ease.
Now I realize just from the nature of forum posts that people aren't inclined to come into a forum and NOT complain. I understand that, people go to forums to solve issues. I'm coming off 8 flawless years of use with a Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W power supply but when I had a chance to get an EVGA PSU for my new build I couldn't pass it up. I've always had great luck with EVGA video cards and motherboards so putting my trust in EVGA for my PSU was not an issue. But the countless complaints about this particular PSU really worry me.
Please, if you've had this PSU for years without any issues I'd like you to share your experiences. Thanks
