Hi. I have question. My mobo is Asus Z170-P. Yesterday i plug my GTX 1080 ti but there was not signal on screen. Lights card was on, fan was on. But no signal on screen. I updated bios of mobo and it worked good. So question. Can outdated bios mobo make no signal issue?

I just remove card from slot, update bios using integrated gpu ,install in slot GPU again and card is working. So propably that was issue because of bios uefi?

Well there is 'something' going on with UEFI bios and no screen if you change your GFX card for a new one.

Recently changed to 1080 FTW Hybrid from a 980ti SC, bios would not wake up monitor upon booting.
First thing I did was disabling 'Fastboot' on my MSi z87 mobo.
This appeared to fix the issue, or so I thought !

However I have since enabled 'Fastboot' and it works still...... this means that.........

My conclusion is the resetting my bios back to defaults - by taking out battery for 5 mins (which i had to do to disable fastboot) was actually the thing that fixed it !!!!!!

Did you remove all the Older Drivers from the Card you had Installed before you got the GTX 1080Ti and run DDU in safe mode to clean up?
Did you Re-set the Bios to the Optimized or Default Settings After You install your GTX 1080Ti to for a read on the PCIe Lanes?
