Hi All

I upgraded my 2 GB 760 SC and got a 4 GB version of the card
Apart from the 10MHZ higher clock on the 4 GB edition, I noticed the old 2 GB card had straight heat pipes, similar to the ones being advertised on the newer cards
I found this strange as the 4 GB edition has the heatsink with 3 bent heat pipes.
Ill try to post picts later or tomorrow

I want to swap the heatsinks
Should I go ahead or just leave as is ?

Thanks

Is there a specific reason you "upgraded" to the 4GB version?

It's really not an upgrade at all. The 2GB version is plenty fast and there is literally zero reason to switch to the 4GB if all you do is games. Even in VRAM intensive apps, you hit a bottleneck from the clockspeed of the card preventing you from using all 4GB.

Just saying, better to be informed than spend hastily.

    My old card died.
Anyway in cod black ops 3 i can use max texture detail now without any stuttering so i feel it was worthwhile getting the 4gb
I'm still not sure about my original question though about the heatsinks. Thanks for the input much appreciated ...
