Hello, Thinking about going with clear tubing with blood red dye for both loops. I run a cpu loop up top with a dual 5.25" res/pump and a gpu loop below. I did have a thought about using black dye in one loop and red for the other. What do you think? I have the second block on the way.

Get a less expensive heat gun like this: here Also, get lots of spare PETG tubing. I usually get 5 or ten packs because you will want it to be perfect, and you need to get familiar with it. You may be a pro and bend it perfect the first time, but I find it hard to get it exactly like I want, and end up rebending everything all the time. Don't worry about the wolverine reamer thing. Pick up a pack on 300 grit or 800 grit sand paper. The reamer is meant for acrylic and really doesn't work all that well with petg. Other than that, have fun with it. It's a great big pain in the butt, but looks amazing. Also, make sure you have everything for a drain port. That is extremely important.

Thank you for the tips!
I am getting 8 pieces of PETG tubing, so I hope that I can get away with it. I only need about 4 ft total, so 24 ft total should be enough.
I will change to get the heat gun you recommend and drop the reamer.

Good deal. That will save you only a little money, but will help a lot. I went through 7 pieces of tube today, because the run I WANT is about 530mm long, and the overall tube length is 500mm... I don't like how it looks, but what else can I do, lol.

That may be a good idea. I have no flow indicators on my build currently, only temp probes. I will order one or two.

I personally wouldn't go cheap on the heat gun, but I also use mine for alot more than just tubing.
When I decide to take the next step to rigid, I was actually thinking about getting one of those Monsoon tubing kits.
I looked at those for awhile and I thought I would get one as well, but the primochill jig seemed to be better for me and easier to setup. With the Monsoon kit, you will need to secure each piece to a wood block or something.

Don't think you can use the heavy duty tube cutter either. You will use a hacksaw or something similar. I went with Koolance fittings because they are triple O ring fittings. and they are about the same price. I also am using quick disconnects on the hard tubing for the radiator This way I can pull it out the top with out having to worry about loosing fluid and fast cleaning. They make a fiting that will allow you to go from hard tube fitting to quick disconnect fitting.

He will need a Hacksaw or some sort of saw for the rigid tubing, but he also has soft tubing 2 spots above that, so he could keep it or use a sharp knife. that would save some money just using a knife.

I am using quick disconnects on my rad with no soft tube anywhere. I am using Koolance QD3 parts with Fitting Coupling Adapter, *Black* Female-Female, G 1/4 BSPPSKU: ADT-XFF-BK from Koolance. It allows me to use a hard tube 5/8 tube fitting to the coupling then to the female QD3 which will connect to the male QD3 on the radiator. So I pull the QD's down while I have my wife lift the rads off the top. That is if you have the drop in plate for the radiators. Edited because it looked like the same case as mine but dug deeper and its not. So the above may not work for you.

The XSPC cutter cuts threw the PETG tube like butter!!! I think I will go with a dedicated drain port. I am getting tired of QD's they just get more and more difficult to take on and off. :/

So I finished it today!!! VERY HAPPY with the results. Tell me what you think! :) Also, I was thinking about black die for the CPU loop and blood red dye for the GPU loop. What do you think? I kinda like the clear too. :P Original  PETG Tubing with PrimoChill fittings

Looks great! That's a nice upgrade from the flexible tubing. It looks like you did a really nice job on the tubing bends. How long did it take to finish?

thank you for the shout outs!!. I am glad I finally dove in and spent the $$$$.
It took about 5 hours to rework the plumbing under the midplate and about 5 hours to learn/make all of the new tubing. The Bender tool from Primochill helped out a lot.
