Hello everyone, My keyboard's key get repeat randomly these days.... I'm using 1.18 BIOS and it *SEEMS* like I don't have this issue with 1.16 BIOS before.... My mobo is a X99FTW, the keyboard is a Tt esports cherry MX RED switch keyboard, USB2.0 straight to motherboard, on the same USB header all the time. Did anyone got similar problem? I'm wondering if that is related to the new BIOS since, as stated, it fixed certain n-key rollover issue..... Thank you.

I'm not sure if I understand your problem correctly. Do you mean that while you're typing a key it will keep typing? As an example if you type the letter 'Q' sometimes it will keep typing the 'Q' forever?

That to me sounds like a faulty keyboard. Another thing that jumped at me is when the OP says he connects the keyboard via internal USB 2.0 Header on the MB. Was scratching my head on that one.

Try a different USB port to plug into. Also you could go back to 1.16 if you had no reason to update the Bios, other than just wanting to have the latest.

Yes correct. It happens randomly, maybe once every few days. Not sure if only on certain keys or all of them.

dellguyz USB2.0 straight to motherboard, on the same USB header all the time.
Seems they were trying to say - plugged into the same USB port "on back "of MB and not through any kind of hub - like the monitor etc. +1 on keyboard possibly the cause (check drivers & test)

The terms "USB2.0 header" I mean here is USB2.0 port on the back of the motherboard.... hope this make sense or, please correct me if "USB2.0 header" is standing for another items so making the confusion???

No worries. When we use the term USB header, it usually means on the actually motherboard and port would be the externals you use to connect your devices too.

had the exact same issue with my k70 a few months back, talked to corsair and they had me rma it, replacement has not had any issues. don't suppose you have another keyboard you can try and see if it does the same or try the keyboard on another computer/laptop? But its more than likely the keyboard.
