Hello,

I'm currently trying to attach the SATA power cables that came with the titular unit to Intel 530 SSD drives; I've tried both drives and all the 'ends' (I'm not clear on what to call to the portion that goes into the SSD drives) on each, and can't get a single connection to stick; it looks like it fits, slides in a tiny amount (see attached image), and then slips off when it is jostled just a little bit.  Since it seems unlikely that I got two defective drives and/or four defective SATA cables, is it possible that they are incompatible?  If it is user error, is there some trick to getting them them to connect properly?  I'm already kind of worried I'm going to damage the components with the force I've exerted trying to get it to slide in, but I suppose I can add extra force.

Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

look at the end of the power cable make sure your lining it up right its in the shape of a " L "  it has to be perfectly lined up before it go's all the way in.

SuperNOVA SATA Power connector cables have one of best and tightest connection I ever met.
You only should look and turn on right side... Than connector will enter inside deep and no way to move until you pull him harder.
But if you made mistake you can brake plastic on on SSD or HDD and to destroy him.
Like he explain you.. you need to pay attention on horizontal L shape and to turn connector on right side.
Absolutely same situation is and with EVGA Sleeved Cable Set. And connectors there are very nice and stay tight in HDD/SSD.
