What a fun time to be involved in the pc world.
VR, dx 12, steam os, and steam machines are set to be available this year. This along with Microsoft's announcement that the xbox one will get a Windows 10 update along with its dx 12 api. I mean why not it would only help the Xbox one become even more powerful. With all this comes a market shift , where developers will not need to port its games. All but the ps4 which will be left in its lonesome.
What's all this mean? We will see even more pc games available ( will Madden return to pc with vr support ).
We who purchase discrete graphics cards will only continue to be at the top of the graphics hill. Why because we have at our feet machines that only will benefit from this upcoming technology.

    I am looking forward to DX12. It has been a long time coming and lets hope it lives up to its hype.  It is also a time where a lot of people will have to make a decision to upgrade now or wait for skylake..

    I'm very much looking forward to this year, dx12 and VR.. This year I will finally upgrade my monitor (Alienware AW2310) to that of one with a variable refresh rate (G-sync or Freesync).. Very exciting year in hardware upgrades for me. :)
