It was the definitive origin of most of what makes up personal computing. PC users sure hate to remember that and prefer to adhere to revisionist history. It's highly collectible for it's historical value. First popular PC, first popular MP3 player, first popular smartphone, and first popular tablet. Apple is no dummy when it comes to consumers although most people in this thread would prefer otherwise.
