hi, i'm new here. i have problem, i just bought evga gtx 950 ssc to replace my broken radeon

here my pc :
mb : biostar H61MHV version 7.0
socket : 1155
proc : intel i5 3470
ram : ddr3 8gb
psu : corsair cv450
windows : 7 enterprise 64bit

i try put this vga(gtx 950ssc) then connect monitor with cable vga to hdmi. i run the pc but show black screen, then i turn off the pc. remove this vga, then connect monitor to vga onboard, show normal. then turn off again, put again this vga(gtx 950 ssc). connect monitor with cable vga to hdmi. run the pc, show normal boot and screen. but if i do restart, will back to black screen again?

what happen? bottleneck? not support? or must upgrade to last BIOS? or should be connect monitor with cable vga to dvi-i?

and then i have another problem about driver, download driver with os windows 7 64bit, but when i try to install show not compatible with my windows. so i try change the file type from .exe to .rar then extract, then install manual. what happen?

thank you

Probably just need to update your bios. For your second issue make sure you’re running the latest service pack.

This is also listed in the release notes for the latest 471.11 driver...

Obtaining NVIDIA Drivers: Microsoft now provides only SHA-2 signed drivers. If your Windows 7 system is NOT equipped to detect SHA-2, you need to install the SHA-2 update support patches. For details as well as access to SHA-2 update support patches, see the Microsoft KBA "2019 SHA-2 Code Signing Support requirement for Windows and WSUS".
