Ran all my Benches that you can see in Mod Rigs with a 4.7GHz setup, this board goes to 4.7 so easy its scary , the only thing I haven't run yet was prime but theres no need for it anyway for me because im not keeping at a daily 4.7 anyway ..

^^^ I certainly would have gone for X79...no doubt about it....I wouldnt have gone with a $1100 Extreme CPU this late in the game though ;)...especially if your just going to push the vcore to 1.40v and go for 4.7 Ghz.....3930K and 4930k can pretty much do the same....although I jumped all over a 980Xa few yrs ago....hhhmmmm ther is something about that black n gold box / decal ;)
I know personally I'll likely wait around 3 - 6 months after X99 release prior to making the jump....depends to where Maxwell is at....damn next upgrade will likely be a pricey one !!!

Personally I just really liked the ASUS Black Edition MB , pictures don't do it justice , plus I wanted to be able to overclock from the handheld that it comes with or even my iPhone..
Plus the board has 3 preset overclocks that work really great 4.10, 4.30,and 4.50GHz all that run flawless even at 4.7GHz was super easy to obtain , the board just does everything great for me, im a very green novice overclocker and really do it for fun nothing serious and I can afford it fairly easy. if the 99 series came out tommorro and I liked it I would buy it.. :)

You have Rampage 4 Black Edition.
I would build this immediately... without delay any second.

    OMG how this look extreme.
Something like that I want on mine X99.
This is far best CPU block in combination with motherboard block I ever saw on CPU market.
