Well due tot hat my grandmother passed away and was buried 7 days ago, my X-mas was kind of strange this year.
The remaining money was shared across the family and each member got their share and this is what I got for my share:

    Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 290X PCI-E 4096MB 512Bit GDDR5 2816 ALU's for 479 Euro incl shipping
    http://www.informatique.nl/561746/sapphire-radeon-r9-290x-4096mb.html

And it is faster than the Titan and almost half the price of one it is on par as gaming performance goes with the latest Catalyst drivers as with a stock GTX 780 Ti and still they were about 230 euro more expensive so yer for me the R9 290X was the utmost obvious choice, I just went for a vanilla model no silly game bundles nor the unwanted thing. And I know some may not like this Radeon, I respect your opinions, just as long you respect mine, each to their own!

Multi-Purpose tool, 25 dollar gift card to Target, Gillette Fusion Power razor, and some candy from my brother. My mom is now almost a month sober after many years, I feel like that's a gift. She made a pretty good xmas lunch before I went to work. To others that have loved ones in the hospital, I do as well. I was not able to spend time with my wife today because my father in law is in the hospital barely holding on. I'm just glad he made it through today and hope he can show some improvement sometime soon and defy the odds with his 5% chances of pulling out of this.

I always get miscellaneous stuff, clothes, shoes, candy, giftcards, no one in my family is into tech so they dont even know what to get me, therefore I treat myself to a nice piece of hardware every year around holidays. This year 780 classified and deathadder 2013.

I got a knife,40 bucks, and a steam game or two from others.

And as usual I bought way more gifts than I received. But it's the season to give not receive.

I do go shooting with the family however so I suppose all the ammo of theirs I shot counts as a  gift also.

I got a free game from Steam, Left for Dead 2. A headache and the chore of replacing the TIM on my primary 680 because it suddenly decided to run at 81°C and throttle when playing Far Cry 3. LOL

Will do. Before I decided on it, I read a review on a side by side comparison with the WD 4TB Black. Performance was similar and about $100 cheaper than the WD. The WD has 5 platters at 7200 RPM while the Seagate has 4 at 5900 RPM.

I got a bunch of good stuff for X-mas: 8 gig of G-Skill Ripjaw 1600mhz to match my existing 8 gig, bunch of misc little crap I needed.
I cheated and bought my own X-mas present back before Thanksgiving-

    BenQ Xl2420TE w/ Lightboost
144hz/1ms/3D-Vision/Flicker-free technology/ lots of other stuff-
Took me about 40 mins to calibrate the colors(getting the black level to look natural took some tuning due to Lightboost).
So many features on this badboy, I highly recommend it if your in the market for a 144hz TN panel.
