So i posted in here a few weeks ago when I hit 3.6...IIRC
Here is where I'm at now:

(in case you can't read it 3DMark-25919, i7 920 @ a hair under 4.2G, 5850 @ 1020/1245MHz

How is that for a total noob? The 3DMark score on the left is from tonight the other is from 30 days ago, when I thought I was satisfied.
Been at this for about 2 months tweaking here and there, totally hooked...
Now I'm off to work on getting 26K in 3DMark06 so I can get some sleep

Thanks for all the great info guys!

Good job, but I think you will find that if you try Kombuster in Extreme burn mode no AA your GPU temp will skyrocket so fast your sys will blue screen lockup. Your GPU clock, and therefore your GPU V, is just too high to keep temps acceptable under the highest loads.

    Main (gaming) rig: i7-3930K; Asus Rampage IV Extreme; H100 W/p-p Excaliburs, AS5; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB.
See my primary ModsRigs: Adam for the rest, and I have a second (wife's) rig Asus Rampage III Extreme & 960: Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

This was more of a benchmarking run, not a 24/7 kinda thing. I was really just tryin to push it and see what I could get to safely. I ran OCCT and the VRM was fast approaching 85C within the first couple minutes, so I shut it down. Goin to work on getting the temp down as best I can, then get an aftermarket cooler. Running games and anything that doesn't hammer the living crap out of it(ie GPUtool), it's rock stable and everything stays around 70-75C max.
The clock on the CPU needs some work too, it's very stable at 3.99GHz, but at 4.18GHz I am getting mem errors in LinX after three rounds of 25k, but I have found that getting there is where all the fun is, not the number at the end...
