I completed my X79 Dark built with Evga GTX 770 and Corsair HX 850W power supply yesterday and it was a surprisingly smooth process. I powered up the first time without any issue. Installed Fedora Core 19 and then updated the system with latest updates. Again no problem. Started the system again and ran Firefox. Everything works fine and I am a happy camper.

Unfortunately today, the X79 system is dead after I moved the system to another location.  When I switch on the power switch of the power supply, there is a blink of green light on the power button on the X79 board, a blink of white light behind the 24pin ATX connector, and a blink of red light next to the BIOS select switch.  There is no POST CODE. The  board just goes dark.

Any idea that may cause the problem? Please help. Thanks.

Check to make sure that all the PCI cards are seated completely in the slots and that all power connectors are still completely inserted.  Also check the sticks of RAM to make sure they are all seated.  Any of these things could come loose with a rough move to drop.

Especially check the ATX power cable and motherboard auxillary power cable. Reseat both.

Maybe the socket's power is insufficient. Plug it in anywhere else (different circuit) to check.
Unplug all cables from board and devices. Try to start your psu shorting the green line with one of the black ones. Does it power up?
