Hey guys, just built my new system and updated all the drivers for the motherboard and video card. I ran CPU-Z to check what's going on and some of the information isn't what I expected. The CPU is a Core i7 920 D0 stepping, the speed doesn't change from 2388 MHz. I know that the system changed the speed at idle to save power/keep temperatures down, but the speed does not change even when running Hyper Pi or Prime 95. Also, the GPU settings also seem off. I have the EVGA GTX 260 Core 216 at stock right now. CPU-Z shows the speeds at: Core - 300 MHz, Shaders - 601 MHz and Memory at 100 MHz. Please help, what can I do to fix this issue?

You need to go into your bios and change your cpu multiplier to 20x, its currently on 18x which is wrong for the i7 920.

Also those clock speeds for your GTX 260, are the 2D clock speeds which it sits at when you are not running 3D apps, to save power and run cooler.

Its reporting fine. Your GPU's wont reach the clocks they are set for until you use them/stress them in a game. Load something up and then look at what it says. Most all GPU's downclock to save power/less heat when Idle.

EDIT: You beat me by 10 seconds N :P
