    yes, as long as they are both 680, they would be compatible for SLI, regardless of clockspeeds, brand, or custom/reference board.
     
    you can even mix and match 2gb/4gb versions, but it'll only use up to the lower denominator.

    Last I knew mixing VRAM amounts was not going to work. Unless something changed with the 600Series that I am not aware of regarding the matter.

    aah, sorry, i did some research after i read your comment.
     
    it turns out that since around the time of 400/500 series, nvidia has removed the sli support for cards with different memory size.
     
    it used to be supported for as long as i know.
