I just recently got a new monitor Asus 27" 120hz lcd replaced a LG 24" 60hz lcd. I'm running 2 560ti 448 classy's in SLI, on my new monitor the precision OSD when in game indicates my GPU usage (%) never goes over 60% on both cards while my old monitor was always maxed both cards out at 100%...? Just wondering if anyone might know why? Thanks in advance

That would suggest you have a bottleneck with the CPU. I suggest trying to overclock that CPU to 3.6GHz.

HA! That would be a whole different story...I've tried that and I was unsuccessful... How sure are you that might be the problem? I was thinking maybe because its a 120hz monitor they don't have to work as hard?

Are you getting the same performance as before? Do you have vertical sync enabled in the NVCP or frame rate target enabled in precision? If so disable them.

    Where it lists...
    Performance Log
    Frame Rate Target
    Profiles

All you have to do is click Frame Rate Target and see if it's enabled or disabled.

Any new BF3 patches lately? Maybe a new patch put a cap on the fps, which would lower the usage because of the cap. Do you have vertical sync disabled in BF3 also? Are you running BF3 with max settings? Maybe the older version of precision doesn't read the usage correctly when using your new monitor, so you need to update to the latest version. (I doubt this is the issue but try it anyways) What happens when you run unigine heaven 3.0 at max settings does it show %99 usage on the osd? If it does then it's probably something to do with BF3.

You could also try reinstalling the latest video drivers following this guide to see if it corrects the issue...

#1 Download & Install Driver Sweeper & CCleaner.
    http://www.techspot.com/d...66-driver-sweeper.html
    http://download.piriform.com/ccsetup322.exe
#2 Uninstall NVIDIA Graphics Driver, NVIDIA 3D Vision Controller Driver, NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver, NVIDIA HD Audio Driver, NVIDIA Update,  NVIDIA PhysX Driver from Add/Remove Programs.
#3 Run Driver Sweeper and Select NVIDIA - Display & NVIDIA - PhysX and click clean. Click No for Reboot.
#4 Run CCleaner and use the Registry Cleaner and Scan for Issues and then click Fix Selected Issues. (Backup the registry just in case something happens)
    #5 Reboot your system
    #6 Repeat Steps #3 & #4
#7 Download the lastest driver from http://www.nvidia.com/Dow.oad/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
#8 Run the downloaded driver and select Custom (Advanced) Install.
#9 Deselect the following if you are not using them... 3D Vision Controller Driver, 3D Vision Driver, HD Audio Driver, NVIDIA Update. (Only things you should have selected are the Graphics Driver & PhysX System Software)
#10 Select Perform a clean installation then click next to install the driver.

Do NOT use a outdated version of Precision with the latest drivers
There are KNOWN bugs from doing so

Use only the latest version 3.0.3

That and a Custom install of 306.23... be 100% sure to put a check in the box for "Perform a Clean install"

    Should fix you right up

So is there a voltage tuner that comes along with the 3.0.3 version?

Never mind I found it. Curious you think I need to do a new install of my driver if I already had it?

    So you had version 3.0.3
I thought you posted you had 1.2.1?

This is very important, as 1.2.1 is KNOWN to have bugs with Nvidia 300.xx drivers
Only version 3.0.3 of Precision should be used with Nvidia 306.23

    Not really

I dont think anything is really wrong, you just dont have BF3 correctly setup for running 2 560Ti's with a 120hz monitor

CCleaner will ask you would like to backup the registry after clicking Fix Selected Issues.
