It's almost done. Because I now have a mechanical keyboard (which I paid dearly for) I'm a little paranoid about spilling liquid on it, so I decided to move my coffee cup holder further to the left. The beer holder on the right side is safe. The desk takes up 8 sq. ft. (2' x 4'), and is a Work Station, a Gaming Platform, and an Entertainment Center, that sits in my 120 sq. ft. bedroom.
 
Although this is a prototype, this unit could be designed as a "Knock-Down" system, that could be easily shipped or transported.
 
I've been wanting to change the Red and White light rope to a Blue light rope, which I have, and will get around to...someday.

Who uses small monitors when you could use a 42 in tv!  Gaming at its finest.

Just finished the build of my new desk, I've never built any furniture before but it turned out perfect! Here's the sketchup design I did and then the finished desk, going to start staining it tomorrow!



I really like your desk! I'm in the process of designing something similar. What are the dimensions?

I had a Logitech G27 but recently sold it. I don't drive as much as I shoot. I have a Saitek X52 for flight sims. I wish Jane's still made flight sims. An updated version of Longbow with native support for triple monitors like AH-10 Warthog would be sweet.

Nice rigs guys.  Really impressed with the self built furnitures.  I just use a big plastic folding table to hold my computer lol.
