Hi,

I had 2 EVGA GTX 280 SCs. I finally upgraded them to the GTX680 and could not be happier. I was curious which scenario would be better:

A) Use GTX680 alone

B) Use GTX680 and put one of my GTX280s back in to handle Physx processing.

Think B would help my performance? Looking to get a few more frames per second.

Thanks!

My build:
CPU: Intel i7-920
Mobo: ASUS P6T Deluxe
RAM: 12GB Mushkin Blackline DDR3 1600mhz
PSU: Corsair AX1200
HDD: 4x Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD, 2x Western Digital Caviar 2TB
Audio: ASUS Xonar Essence ST
GPU: EVGA GTX680

I've been debating picking up a GTX260 to do physx and to have a decent back up video card.

    Physx isn't GTX680's strong suit.

I just wouldn't leave the card in all of the time since both GTX280 and GTX260 suck a ton more juice than GTX680 does at idle. Most games don't use physx either.
