Hey guys, my first time posting on here so be gentle while i try to explain the situation lol. Ok so i have a evga gtx 570 hd and was using the precision software before the precision X and i OC it just a little but even on stock settings i could run crysis 2 around 50-55 FPS right. So i upgraded to precision X and entered the exact same OC settings and they were never stable no matter what. Like 1 setting was stable on metro but then crysis made it crash so i thought no biggy because im sending card back in few days to get a 680 but heres where i dont get the problem.

On stock settings crysis will not go above 30FPS if barely, like max ive seen is 35-39 and im at the same checkpoint where when i first downloaded X it showed 59-60 first time but now not even close to that for some reason. I dont get what happened, i didnt change not a single thing else where. So does anyone have any clue why my FPS suddenly dropped when even on stock settings it ran pretty decently?

Did you enable the FPS target?

I tried both enabled FPS and off but i dont even think the 570 is supported on that feature but regardless i did try and had it at 60 and still a no go.

OK so i just set up a RMA with new egg to get refund and probably ship tomorrow. Once i got done with all that and closed out firefox i noticed another issue and it kinda confirms something is def wrong with the card but i didnt know bout it till after i set up the RMA.

My card always idled at 28-30....well..now its idle at 50-51? Why in the world would it idle like that now? I mean the card getting sent back but i would just like to know what happened with it.
