There are numerous tweaks that can be done for ssd's.. Granted, most of the tweaks out there are for first generation ssd's but on the same token alot of the tweaks are still applicable to new ones.

I'll eventually try one one of these days, but I still don't trust them for data relibility from what i've heard. What good are they if I can't add/change/delete files all the time without wearing them prematurely out?

Drop your HDD 1ft while it's on, and drop this 1ft, then see which one is more "reliable". Also OP, but... I thought you just bought it yesterday? Lol.

SSD is awesome. I am using my first one as well and will never go back to a hdd for main OS. Tweak wise. Windows 7 handles everything perfectly fine. No tweaking needed.

Congrats! Prepare for SPEED. I got my first SSD a few months ago and I use it as an OS drive. What a difference. I will be replacing my storage HDD with an SSD.

TBH I don't see much of a speed boost with a ssd other than boot time with can't be measured, but I use linux

My first SSD is the same as you have but 60GB, it is probably the best upgrade I could ever have

What good are they if I can't add/change/delete files all the time without wearing them prematurely out? Failure rate of an ssd is lower than that of a spinner drive. I use them for os and storage drive. You can guess what kind of workout my storage drive gets on a daily basis. Have yet to see any report of any ssd "wearing " out.
