Fraps has been updated to 3.0.1 from the just released V 3.0.0 with following updates and fixes...

ChangeLog: 

 Added minimize to systray option for Win7 users 
 Fixed video capture frame rate defaulting to 30 fps when Fraps loads

    I did too a couple days ago.  I just went into the "members" area and downloaded this new one last night.  When you pay for it, you don't have to pay again for the update.  All in all, it takes "less than" a minute to download the new version, uninstall the 3.0, and install the new one.  It isn't a hassle at all

    Anyone else having issues with the latest fraps and Valve games like TF2, HL2, CS:S, Left for dead??? I'm getting massive fps drops using fraps in those game. I get from 70-200 fps without fraps, and with fraps I can't even go above 45 fps.  There is no issues on any other games on steam like Lost Planet, UT3, Bioshock, ect, it's just Valves games.
