I just recently got it off of Amazon. With 2 1080 TIs that was on my Z97 motherboard, the cards are listed backwards in NVidia Control Panel. It was GPU 1 listed as 2 and GPU 2 AS 1. Also in Logitech G510 lcd display shoes them backwards. Thought it was a driver issue, but updating to the latest drivers didn't help any. Also, man the spacing between the 2 GPUs make the upper card toasty!
The  Z97 Gigabyte board had a full 2 slots of space. Sadly, that also means I can't reuse my HBW SLI bridge. Been reading online that NVidia no longer sells the 0 slot bridge either. Currently running the triple SLI bridge on them. But I still get the notification to use the non-existent bridge...

I don't know if the 0 slot bridge will fix this or not but you should be able to find a used one online if you want to try it.

    (snip from OP)

that is normal - (they report reversed)

Which 1080Ti models are you using?

Blower style coolers, the Hybrid cards & water blocks are best for closely spaced SLI setups

Just bugs me seeing it in the lcd screen, when the Z97 board identified them correctly. Mine have the twin fan design. Sadly, not enough space for them, I think. I even added back the fan housing that came with the Corsair HAF case blowing on them. Wonder if adding a fan to the side of them would help. Had that on my old triple 470 SLI setup .
