Only just noticed my psu fan don't spin, no idea how long it's been like that, surprised it's still powering my computer. Only bought it febuary, thought seasonic were the greatest, obviously not.

    It's supposed to be fanless unless it needs the cooling from the fan.  Jonnyguru's didn't turn on until it was outputting around 400W.  Because of its super-high efficiency it can safely run passively for quite some time.  It also says right on the PSU that it will be fanless for some time.

    So your saying, it only starts spinning when on a particular load?

    It starts spinning when it reaches a certain temperature.

    I just read the review, i bought a psu without knowing anything about it, it's all good.
