Thank you for replying. I found out it's not available as a stand alone deliverable from EVGA here in Europe, only in the US. That took some tries, as the EVGA.eu shop is not searchable. Customer friendly? I guess that's partly why they can't bother to reply to my question, not even with a negative "it won't work." On the other hand, that might be because it does work, as forum member delarisch states:
"Yes ... I purchased an ECP V4 specifically for the switches on the front panel. I was trying to diagnose BSOD problems in my build... and found it IMPOSSIBLE to get to the CPU jumpers without having to remove my CPU Cooler(s) every time. Anyway ... the 2 digit display providing the POST/CPU #0 Temp works fine (it is a bit dim but otherwise fully functional). The 4 switches also work to control disabling of the odd number PCI-e Slots. I built a custom cable to allow me to use 2 switches for the CPU Disable and the other two buttons to disable PCI-e slots 4 and 6.
As for the other functions (voltage adj) ... you are on your own... I haven't tried them. I think I'd opt for an evBot rather than using the front panel buttons for voltage adjustments anyway.
That's my experience YMMV! -A P.S. BTW ... it looks WAY Cool in my build ... and having the POST info without opening the box has been a dream for troubleshooting!!!"
http://forums.evga.com...21&mpage=1#1819728 As you hint, zophar, it doesn't say anything about things working or not in the long term. I think it's worth a try, as I may have to turn off and on the Quadro and the GeForce cards depending on software I'm running. So I have to find a supplier that delivers to the EU.
