I am having a weird issue with the mini-HDMI output on my GTX 470. Whenever the driver updates to the newest release (whenever I manually download and update it), the HDMI output to my TV is glitchy when playing videos fullscreen. Because of this, I am having to use the 270.61 version of the driver, which still causes this slight popping noise every 10sec or so (like a tiny skip in the playback). At first I thought it was the TV's fault, but since rolling back my drivers fixed 90% of the issue I am lost now (don't think nVidia would release a driver that disables your HDMI playback). I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have tested both Windows Media Player and DivX Player to see if the issue was player-specific (it isn't). Has anyone else noticed this issue? Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help. Brendan "NinjaNife" West P.S. I tried searching for this issue in the forums but I mainly found sound issues (this is mainly video glitching, randomly throwing green and tearing the picture apart), so if this was already discussed I apologize. Hopefully this is a simple issue and I can just facepalm myself Thanks again!

Try a clean install of 267.24 It probably wouldn't hurt to clean system and registry with CCleaner. (Free at CCleaner.com)
Gigabyte Z590 Vision G Mobo, intel i3 10105 CPU, 32GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 RAM, EVGA GTX 750ti FTW Video Card, EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 power supply, Fractal Design Focus G (White) case, Cooler Master Hyper212 RGB Black CPU cooler. 2 Dell LED Monitors (20" & 24"), SK Hynix Gold 1TB SATA SSD (OS Drive), 6 WD HDDs 13TB total (Storage). Rig is a partial update on the old Gigabyte P43/Q6600 OC rig... The WD HDD's, (13TB, total), Blu-ray & DVD burners, GTX750ti FTW & Supernova 850 G2 psu, migrated from old setup... Will get an 11700K, and an RTX 3060 12GB Black card, when I'm ready to OC... Windows 11 Pro set for performance, and it runs at 4.2Ghz... Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel/Pedals, Built for Gaming, Video Production, and Cakewalk, Cubase DAWs...

As for CCleaner, I use it on a regular basis so should be good there :) Just a question; when you say "clean install" do you mean to just click the "clean install" button on the new nVidia installer or to run through with Driver Sweeper? If Driver Sweeper, where is a good download for that (I lost it when I reinstalled Windows a few months ago)? Thanks for the help! Brendan "NinjaNife" West

I meant clean install button on driver. I don't have driver sweeper either, the link that was posted in another forum no longer works, as they no longer offer it in their utilities downloads. I don't know where a good one is. Try searching for it with Bing...

I hate to say it, but the 267.24 drivers actually made the problem worse (no video glitching, but the skips/pauses are much more frequent and slightly longer). It makes watching movies impossible :(

One of the earlier drivers should cure it, all I can say is keep trying till you find one, cleaning registry each time...
