I have had several BSOD's with Corsair's Force 3 coming out of sleep mode.

Also when the computer restarts I will get an error that I don't have the proper windows files installed and I need to put in the windows CD and do a repair.  However when I simply go into the BIOS and remove all the drives but my Force 3 drive from the boot order it works fine.  I don't have windows installed on any other drive, only the Force 3 drive.  The boot order also changes sometimes, almost like the MB thought the Force 3 was removed from the computer and then assigns another HD to be brought back into the boot order (usually my raptor which is in a red SATA 6.0 slot).  If it happens again I will write down the codes it throws (if I can catch it), as well as the boot issue codes.

Anyone else with issues?

Some stupid questions:  Did you set the SSD as the C: in disk manager and being Boot drive?  Is the SSD config in BIOS as AHCI ? Do the other drives have the flag of being a Boot drive in disk manager?

I'm so glad that I refused delivery of the 2 Corsair Force 3 SSDs I ordered.  I'm sorry that you are having a problem with them.

Turns out my firmware needs an update, hopefully that fixes everything.  Corsair said the current drives that shipped out are not shipping with the same issues, but some may still need a firmware update.  I checked my numbers and its not one in the RMA batch, so I am updating the firmware as we speak.  /crosses fingers

I tried increasing my PCH voltage from the stock setting up to 1.15v lets hope this holds up and strong.

I talked to corsair, looks like there isn't a firmware upgrade, i was looking at the wrong thread. /doh!

In any case, I dont get the BSOD's that often, maybe the voltage change will be that fix.

I have a Force 3 and I had to replace it.  RMA goes pretty quickly and I live in Europe. Look at the serial number it tells you if it is the version with the flaw.

How is the stability with replaced Force 3 120GB?

I've read on their forums and there are still issues with replaced drive on certain configuration... thats why im wondering how is it with EVGA P67 FTW

I am still having problems, the force 3 will sometimes remove itself from my bios and i have to reset a million times before it goes back in and stays in... I have had the WORST luck with SSD's but i love em sooo much.  Its like a ****ty relationship, no matter how bad it gets, the good times are still good.

I have two Force 3 120gb SSD's in Raid 0 and I have all these issues, nothing they suggest help except moving them into the Sata 2 slots.  I can't even boot my PC if i use the Sata 3 slots.

At first 1 of my disks said (Error Occured) and it still booted.  I had another of the so called Freeze/BSOD and now my second disk says (Error Occured) , right now all I do is wait for answer to the problem.  I figure it's just a matter of time before I have to secure erase and reload my box.  I get occasional Freeze/BSOD still.

Wish I would've picked different disks.

Probably the best solution is to get a Force GT instead of that.

Isnt Forge GT using the same Sandforce (2281) Controller?

To me the best solutions seems to be getting a 240GB drive instead, since all the issues reported only affect 120 GB drives ..

This doesn't always help but change the PCH vcore to 1.15, it helps improve this issue by i'd say 30-40%

Thanks i will try that later tonight.  If i disconect the external hdd then it will boot windows.  Sometime between 4:30 AM and 3:30 PM the computer shut off.  My OC was stable on my vertex 2.  Maybe the PCH increase will help that.

Great, I cannot return the Force 3 because in the store they do not accept the replaced RMA version. If Corsair does not find a solution we are screwed
