If I understand what you are asking - there is a setting in the NVIDIA control panel.  Open up the control panel and click on Desktop in the top menu bar.  Under that drop down there should be another option in which you can check (or uncheck) "Maximize Windows across all displays"

I found this using search and it's the closest thing I can find pertaining to my problem, but here it is:

On my desktop menu, the above mentioned options have gone missing. I updated to 331.58 and all options except "add desktop context menu" is the only option under "desktop". I rolled back to 320.18, and the options returned but when I started back up today, they're gone again.  I don't understand why they disappeared in the first place. I'm running triple 24" monitors and I rarely stretch out to all three when browsing (I play iRacing and it does it automatically in the sim), but I'm concerned about the options under desktop missing.

    Help?
