I've been trying to get a gpu as well, pretty sure that's the case all around, I signed up for evga queue but i don't know how long it'll take, anyone know how to increase my chances of getting an rtx 30 series?

It should be a pretty good option. At resolutions below 4K, the CPU still plays an important role- especially in CPU intensive games. As you go to 4K and crank up the settings, the GPU makes a far bigger difference. What resolution are you looking to play in>

I got mine through twitch. I watched 3 streams in a row, gathering all those points, did all the raids etc, then at the end of the 3rd I gambled all of my points to double them, and it got me just over 5k to get elite membership, haha. Risky, but quick, was the only way I could do it in time for the 3070 TI release. ;)
