Just tweaked up the FXAA Injector I use in BF3 to look good for FC3. Give it a try if you wish.

To install it drag the 3 files + 1 folder into the Far Cry 3 bin folder.
 
Tweak it however you want by editing the injFX_settings file with notepad++ or regular notepad/wordpad.

The game doesn't really NEED it but some users may like it, while others will probably hate it.

probably a real framerate killer too, no thanks, I want them to fix/patch the damn game

 
no its not a framerate killer, I tested it on and off and its only like a 3fps difference which is very little.
 
as for the patch 1.03 just released but does not have the hud fixed yet, according to the ubisoft forum that will be in patch 1.04

+1  I'm not sure why it's that way. It makes you feel like its foggy or the air is polluted. 

I don't use the onscreen display, I Just need it working in background for my fan profile

The Post FX Tweak will work with the FXAA injector, it wasn't the problem it was just my xfire.

the game patches won't be effected by this at all,  the FXAA injector uses its own DLL file, Config File, shaders file, and Folder with a bunch of preset settings.
 
None of the actual game files were modified.
 
So its safe to use with just about any game you want DX9/DX10/DX11 doesn't matter, just has to be in the same folder as the main game exe.

There is nothing special in my gamerprofile.xml. It's at default settings. I set the video quality to ultra with 2xMSAA and use the FXAA Injector + sparse grid supersampling in Nvidia Inspector.

I loved this, worked fine up until 1.04 patch, now FXAA is broken again.

 
Not here its not, I'm on 1.04 and FXAA injector still works.
 
This mod doesn't change any of the original files so game patches should not break it.

I installed it and copied to Far cry bin folder. As soon as I start playing Far cry 3 it crashes. What  is the problem?

 
one of the far cry 3 patches or uplay updates broke the compatibility with the FXAA injector. won't work on mine anymore either.
