I'll look again after I finish this eight hour Work Unit. No caps? What do I look like, a charity? As long as I get some decent XP I'll be happy and it'll keep Curie busy too. I found a blue dress for Cait but I'm thinking about putting it on Curie. These companions are hopeless. I even have to dress them. Curie has been carrying around a bunch of Synth armor and isn't smart enough to wear it unless I put it on for her. I've been dabbling with DOOM 3 lately. No HUD stinks so I don't know where I'm going and no objective marked anywhere. Plus every time I press RMB to aim down the sights my character jumps in the air. What were they thinking when they made that key binding?

Yep.  I've seen several of my companions doing that.   The "magic" connector is a bit strange.

I think they're all synths and out to replace me.

It's all Zuhl's fault. He broke their hearts.

Change your pickup lines when romancing them by not using the word "Baby". LOL

I am curious if anyone else has notice something like this....I returned to my Red Rocket station and saw Cait at the power armor work bench working on nothing, but the curious thing is that she had a Pip boy wire coming out of her arm with no Pip boy or anything attached to it. It was just floating in air.

Is Cait wearing Power Armor?

Na, she breaks it too much. I have probably wasted 3 or 4 tons of steel on her pink set. It is parked in the back with the other 20 sets I own.
Although if that were the case I would be upset that she can work on it while wearing it and I can't.

Yeah, that girl can totally destroy some Power Armor in record time. She has no concept of how to duck or hide behind some cover. She probably has cooties too.

That reminds me of a gripe.

Why is it the AI has cover options and we don't?   They can duck behind walls and objects end then either pop out and shoot or simply hose the area down with blind fire.   Meanwhile, the best we can do is crouch behind something and then waddle out.   Speaking of being crouched.  When will Bethesda learn that when you are in crouched position, you can go under things that you couldn't while standing.

Okay, back on topic.   I never thought of putting any of my companions it power armor.

Companions are pretty stupid when it comes to entering Power Armor. They can't get in if it is parked in a repair station. And Cait has spent plenty of time butting her head against the front of the Power Armor and then complaining how she can't get there from here. I have to walk her around to the back and then she can figure it out on her own. I am beginning to think that Cait is a natural blonde and colored her hair. It didn't fool me.

I agree about the duck and go under, and I would love to be able to shoot from cover on a Fallout game, would definitely make things easier in the beginning when a dozen bullets will take you out.

No, they are stored at Red Rocket. I have Strong, Dogmeat, and my Mr. Handy guarding them. Most of the frames are stripped and parts stored in my workshop. Only the BOS set is complete and no one seems to want any of it.

I've wondered that my self. The flip side to that would be why can't some of those flying baddies not able to fly through some of those same objects we complain about not being able to duck under.

Interesting. I had mine stored at Sanctuary and they started missing parts so I moved them to my place at Market City. Considering that it is getting some what crowed there I may have to move some of them. I don't have any BOS Power Armor yet but I will keep that in mind.

I am getting ready to move what's left of my cannibalized Power Armor to Home Plate and give a suit to Curie. Maybe it was a glitch but the workshop in Home Plate won't let me make any Power Armor stations. My Nuka-Cola machine doesn't work either. Bummer. I'd hate to have to scrap it. I can't find any quests on that billboard either but I did have a resident come up to me and ask for my help.

I met some guy who had me waste the bartender that was having an affair with his wife after looking at a blank billboard. After that I found someone's Chem-lab at Shamrock brewery but still haven't found a way to disable those laser trip wires. Time to do some more exploring with Curie.

Currently you can't make any bench stations that I am aware of other than what is there. I read that they are trying to change that at Bethesda. Little side note: You may not have the correct items needed to do this. The benches are restricted to what you have in the work bench storage and is currently not allowed to join the trade route.

I believe that your Cola machine needs power that you have to connect to the power connector on the wall.

The bulletin board will give you missions but it will be one at a time and you must complete it to be able to get another one. Check under the pip boy data screen in the miscellaneous category to see if you have something pending.

I only have options for furniture and electric for Home Plate. There might have been something else but I can't remember right now. Maybe it was for water and food but I have no idea where you would plant something in there. BTW, I made the best bed available for Me and Curie or Cait if she'll take me back. Boo-hoo. I miss Cait.

This is my power armor station in Sanctuary.  The top pic is a bit old.  I now have 4 completed suits up there.  T-60, T-51, T-45 and a suit of Raider armor.

I haven't had pieces go missing.   But I did have one of my settlers jump into an incomplete suit once when super mutants attempted a raid.  As far as I can tell, I haven't had them go through my cabinets for stuff.  But honestly, I have so much crap stored up, it would be almost impossible to tell.   The only thing that I know has gone missing is my Silver Shadow submachine gun.  And I can't remember if I left that somewhere else and just forgot where or if it was pilfered.

One thing that is interesting is that one of my provisioners is running around in a complete suit of T-45 armor.  Or at least he was.   I took the armor pieces from him.  But the game wont let you take the chassis.   Which is kind of stupid.

Nice setup. You just need a set of X-01 and you will have the whole collection, maybe a BOS set too. Oh and I read on an earlier post (can't remember who) that Cait used up fusion cores, I just don't give her any cores. I am upset that I have to have them and she doesn't though.

Dukman,

Very NICE!!!!

I do see 2 units that are headless.

When up against a raider dressed in Power Armor you can't take the chassis either. But they sure do charge a lot for the base metal to make one.

I keep finding headless armors and there doesn't seem to be many helmets lying about.

That suit in the center pod is BOS armor.

Hmm... I'll need to get a newer picture with the other suits in place.   And I cheat when it comes to fusion cores.  Running a mod that allows you to pick a power consumption level.  Currently Im using the 1% level.  But Im thinking of bumping that up a bit to be a bit more "lore friendly".  Which is ironic, because power consumption was never an issue in the previous games.   It makes sense that the armor would eventually run out of power, but it had always been implied that each suit contained a miniature reactor that was good for years of hard use.

I also confess that I spend hours and hours in the settlement building mode building and then unbuilding things till I get it "just right".   So I've found myself going back to settlements and tearing down the quick and cheap stuff that I tossed in to keep the whiners happy.    I mean, really is it really necessary to have a bed to sleep in?

Bethesda just released their 1.3 patch for the game.

It appears to address numerous issues.   Some I have encountered already some I haven't.
