That pump is history. The last time I had to RMA a pump with Swiftech they kept me waiting for almost two weeks after receiving the old one while Amazon showed they had 23 new ones in stock. I had to file a grievance with Amazon and it sill took me a week to get my replacement shipped out. I should have taken the refund offered by Amazon and got the XSPC dual-bay combo unit. Now my video boards are running 10° hotter than normal. I hope that Swiftech pump didn't lose it's cookies and hurl chunks through my loop. If I ever get my replacement I am going to reapply TIM to the GPU die anyway. I am ready to go back to air cooling.

I am running the H100I from Corsair and to be honest, I haven't had any problems with it.

I was thinking about getting a Swiftech system but after reading about your issues with them, I'm glad I didn't.

If the cookie hurl is in your system then I believe you will be going with a new system. You don't need that stuff floating around in the loop(s) to eventually take out another pump.

The air cooling works great but I don't like the weight that comes with them. I have a N620 by Cooler Master in my other rig. It has since been discontinued. But it did it's job and kept things cool without ramping up on the RPM's.

I have to add that Cait loves her grenades...

I never noticed that with Cait but she did like using rockets a lot. I had to take her rocket launcher away from her for her own good. She was using it in close quarters combat and blowing herself up all of the time. It's good thing she never found a Fat Man. I got tired of using all of my Stimpacks on her. Silly girl! Curie likes to melee combat for some reason. I even gave her a nice shotgun but she'd rather try slashing them to death with a combat knife.

Afraid of the competition? LOL

I outfitted A.D.A. with lasers in her head and hands but in combat she's really useless for the most part. She constantly comes unglued at the site of a Radstag and goes running off trying to kill it. I take them down with a single shot while she has to chase it around. I think I am better off with Cait in combat.

I just want to get that quest over with and get Dog Meat back. I am constantly waiting for her to catch up. A PITA is what she is.

The poor Radstag was minding its own business just grazing in the forest when ADA engaged it. After watching this and rolling around the floor laughing I finally put the poor creature out of its misery. I felt it was necessary and consider it a mercy killing. I even got the high powered Sniper Laser perk on my robot! Useless in combat.

Which creature, ADA or the radstag? LOL

Just gotta love them companions.

Cant recall how many times I've been sneaking up on some raiders or similar only to have "insert companion name here" go charging after something.  Radstag, molerat or the bloatfly on the other side of the map.  So while they're off charging down that fearsome critter, they've totally blown my cover and I'm taking fire from half a dozen "insert enemy here".

Now you've convinced me.  Lone wanderer time.

One thing about Dog Meat as a companion is that he goes after the better targets a lot. But you still do not have total control over any of them.

Anyone else having problems with the game crashing? It just crashed on me twice within a hour or so. I don't think it is the driver, been using them for quite a while. The only thing I have changed is adding the DLC.

The game is running great. Even after the latest down load for me.

Try going into Steam and verifying your cache.   There might be a couple of files that have gotten corrupted or are missing altogether.

Why can't any of your settlers SHUT THE DAMN DOOR behind them.   Including Dogmeat.

I happened across a new item that can be built when in settlement mode. They are called "Cage" and I never saw that before. Any thoughts as to what they are used for?

Does anyone know if the latest DLC allows building robots for security detail at settlements and homes?

I built a second robot and sent it to Starlight Drive-in while ADA travels with me. That other robot body I built for the brain that I had to rescue is assigned to where I built it. Nevermind, I built it in Ten Pines Bluff. Second cup of coffee in the works and number three coming up soon.

You're building cages?   Are we going to have a "Silence of the Lambs" thing going on here?

If you want to be brutal I have seen a video where the player built a cage with a Tesla Coil trap inside it and then ordered on of his Settlers inside just to see how long it would take for him to die. A cage might be a good place to put Trashcan Carla since she can't be assigned to do anything. LOL

Survival is a whole new experience. So apparently my weakness is energy. I get totally canned by those robotrons that shoot energy projectiles, and when they use that energy ray fromm their eyes, i'm totally obliterated. I still have to dodge and hide behind cars in a massive gunfight, but I can still hold out. Healing is still an issue and goes really slow, but if you have a high endurance, it will definitely help out. There is no chance in surviving by the super mutant with the mini nuke if he gets too close to you.

By the way, Macready is definitely quieter and more subtle than Cait. He doesn't care if you use drugs, he doesn't care if you take on missions. He just looks at an enemy, and goes "oh..." and then BANG, another dead NPC from his sniper rifle.

Definitely have to use tactics when taking on his side mission.

I just built my first robot (for the brain) and really beefed it up. I have no idea if it can be a companion but it really can haul some weight. ADA has about 328 pounds carrying capacity. I maxed her out weight wise and then transferred all of it to me.

I'm thinking of building more and sending them to all my settlements. I'll make those raiders and other baddies pay. LOL

I am having better conversations with Isabel. Now she's someone I do want as a companion and to romance.

Im stuck in build mode.  I can literally spend hours just fine tuning a shack.  It makes my inner OCD happy when I do that.

Current project is trying to build the perfect shop in Sanctuary.   Im looking for stuff that hasn't been properly navmeshed,  If I can get that as the entrance or near the entrance the settlers will avoid it and I can keep their grubby little fingers off of my stuff.

My idea of a "perfect shop" is just plop the shops up and down the street along the sidewalks in Sanctuary. Yep... there we go, my "perfect shopping mall".
[Shopping Mall Achievement: Plant 6-7 shops along the street in Sanctuary with a level 2 or greater. ]

I keep finding dead Minutemen in my travels. I know robots killed one of them and Ghouls got the other. Oh yeah, before I forget I wasted a Provisioner when I was aiming at a one of those new Charbroiled Ghouls or whatever they're called. They are a nightmare to kill. Anyway, I was using my new Tesla Rifle and the beam arced and killed my Provisioner. Of couse I looted the corpse so it wan't a total loss.

I have spent a ton of time building my main home at Nordhagen beach. I love the fact that the game throws physics out the window. I have a huge complex right on the coast with completely decked out rooms and then on the roof, stairs as high as you can build with a sprawling floor hovering out over the water, decked with lights along the edge to see from far away. I put a couch for me and Cait to watch the sunset across the water. Then I met Piper and Cait just mumbles to herself about drinking, walking around in circles at Sanctuary by herself...

Yep, that's the same old Cait I have in Sanctuary. I gotta wonder if putting one of those hoods with hoses on her would shut her up. I haven't seen any 'Gags' laying around the Raider camps yet.

I started a "Hall of Darkness" starts all the way from the end of the street at the "dead tree", and works its way all the way to the end at the entrance of Sanctuary by the bridge. And it is one long hallway. Why? Because I can.

I'm then going to create a tower with a staircase that goes around the tower.

Finally got to level 56.

Question...

So I use precision X. I like it. If you don't, oh well. Anyway... So I have the info displayed on the monitor from precision. Basically, the frequency for both 1 and 2 GPUs, along with the FPS within game. While playing, I will see GPU 2's frequency start climbing. Why? I don't have SLI enabled, game doesn't like it. Does this game use a sort of physics which the game will allow GPU2 to handle?

Once I exit game, both GPUs go to idle at 135mhz

I have a Logitech G13 and I have all that info displayed on the LCD.   Personally I haven't seen any issues running SLI in game.  But then I freely admit that I don't notice a lot of things.  So it there is some tearing or microstutter it has to be pretty major before I'll notice it.

While I do not have SLI enabled, the FPS is perfect and fine, but why is the 2ng GPU's frequency running over 1k?
