Well... turns out my save got corrupted some how. I started a new game and no more crashes. That sucks. I was level 55 too, had everything completed, had almost every weapon, and Sanctuary was a fortress... Deleted all the mods. I won't let that happen again... This was the problem all along why the game kept crashing.

I had that popular "storm" works thingy, and then I think I had the one where it got darker which was created by the same person who made the stormworks one. THen I had this mod where you can craft your own ammo, I tried using this mod where you can create your own mods for your guns, but it didn't work right. I think this is what killed it; I'm not sure.

For sure. It did have a nice orange glow to it just like sitting by the fireplace during the Winter months. I have heard of other Swiftech pumps doing the same thing especially their H220 which I am the nervous owner of. I sent pictures, serial number and invoice to Swiftech this morning via email. Still waiting for a reply. I am Folding on my secondary board right now and I am hoping I just got a tedious WU because my temps are 30 degrees above ambient. They rarely go over 20 degrees. The CPU temps are fine so IDK what to do if it runs this hot tomorrow. I would hate to 'flame' my video board.

Never have gotten save corruption... still lol crosses fingers. I am a bit disappointed in the new DLC the 10 dollars msrp it is 1/6th the price of the full game so it should give 1/6th the experience, that is one thing it has failed at. Some new assets yes, but not fully all brand new assets. we have some modified ones power armor wise, and essentially two new armor sets, some new weapons, robo brains, a new repeatable quest, three fetch quest one in a mini dungeon, then the big dungeon one, with the ability to mismatch other existing robots as companions, less than three hours of game play. I cannot complain really got my season pass for 15 bucks, but for others who paid the 49.99 to even the 9.99 of the season pass I do feel like they have more reason to complain than I.

Oh way to spoil it... Zuhl, did you at least take a moment to make some 'Smores? @Stalin - I think you might be right about the weapon mods mod. Im also running True Storms and have never had a problem with that mod. I've had a few save corruptions, mostly linked to mods conflicting with each other or adding in an "addition" for a mod that I didn't actually have. I still like having my mods though, especially the True Storms. Creeping through Boston at dusk in a heavy fog while still a squishy low level character is kind of eerie.

Playing on survival mode is one heck of a nightmare... The following are just examples of what I have ran into so far: If there is a turret, run. If there is a mob, run. If you find a rat with a bomb on it, ticking... run. When you use a stim to heal, it heals very slow... You literally have to run away and wait for the stimpack to fully heal you, otherwise you have - no chance. When a car explodes, you die, even when you have a distance from the car. Getting smacked by the radiated "zombies" a few times, you die. The pistol by itself is useless during a gun fight with a mob. Your only best survival attempt is to hide and wait for them one by one and use VATS up close with a shotgun to the head, scoring a 95% hit, which gives a 100% chance to incapacitate them. The "Super beasts" (can't remember the name of them, but they're huge and have big teeth. lol) the mini gun has little impact on them. You will go through at least 1,000 rounds before you take it down. You stand no chance while using power armor. Only way to survive his hide in a building so it can't get to you, and throw the "kitchen sink" at it, while it tries to get to you, but it won't be able to. So, that's your one "cheat" in order to survive. Survival mode basically insists that you use drugs to get the boosts. Survival mode in itself on this game is deadly, and I challenge anybody here to try it out. Start a new character and set it on survival mode. See how long you last, or "survive". The survival mode is how Fallout4 really should be played, because it definitely brings the real life into the game.

I'm not sure. That's what I ran into so far. the radiation storms too have a higher impact, and radiation is absurd as well. So, I guess you can say "yes" to your question... Just an increase in difficulty. I'm just saying that if you all find it too easy, even on normal, then I would suggest to try out survival. It's killer, at least for me.

I've got my hands full on 'Normal' difficulty right now. Most games I start out on 'Easy' and then play the whole game again on the next highest level until I am at the 'Hardened' or highest level. I have seen videos where if you come across a Legendary enemy or know where one will spawn and change the difficulty to Survival Mode they'll drop a more powerful Legendary weapon for you.

That's pretty much a given. Mods have a history of causing strange behavior that go back in time. It seemed that every time a patch was released or a DLC was installed, troubles started.

From what I have read, yes, the difficulty level is greater. Simple head shots aren't so simple. The healing process has been cut back. More Legendary enemy with higher rated weapons. Good luck killing them. If you thought or think that you die to often now, in survival mode you will think that the old way is a walk in the park.

Try it and see. You have nothing to lose. Make sure you note your new character's save point just in case. Also, you might try and go back a little ways after you wipe the mods and see what happens. Make sure that you exit steam after you remove the mods.

I tried that. I erased FO4 and reinstalled it, but it was still crashing, but I also still had the mods installed. Once I erased the mods, and reinstalled the game, it went away, but I tested it with a new character. I will see what happens if I load my existing character.
