Sorry if this has been answered before, but search didn't come up with anything and I figured it might be easier to just post and quickly ask.  I currently have the FTW3 1080 ti preordered, but I definitely want the white Elite version.  I'm unaware of when the Elite versions are getting released, but if I get the FTW3 shipped to me before that happens, will I be able to exchange it for the Elite version once they come out?

    Currently, the step-up only covers the "reference" models, so probably not. But, there was a thread with suggestions about elite membership perks, and one of the suggested ones was improved step-up choices, so things might change in the future.
     
    So, short answer: Doesn't look like it right now.

    Hmm alright, thanks for the reply.  That would be a perk that would definitely make me want to be a member!  Worse comes to worse, I could always sell the card and buy the Elite model when it comes out.

    If you pre-ordered the FTW3 check your email. EVGA should have sent you an offer but there are conditions to step up ( such as previously owning a 9XX or 10XX card).
