A very strange issue guys please help!
Hey there guys,
I've recently bought a 1080 Evga SC edition from a friend, which was working absolutely fine at his end. Now that I've installed it on my computer, It crashes the windows at the driver installation, even installation is successful, just right after 10 secs it crashes the windows go to the black screen while wildly spinning Cpu and GPU fans. The same thing at the restart comes at desktop 10 secs and then gone again. What to do?
At first i thought it was my PSU not taking up the load from GPU, but after testing wattage at the time of crash with multimeter, it took only 138w. So i ruled that out.
Later tried the same card on two different Pc's with intel build and 650w Psu. Still same issue it crashes after installation of drivers.
The strange thing is it's working absolutely fine at owners Pc and the only difference with three other Pc's and owner's Pc is Psu he has 700w PSU.
Now you guys have to help me out of this situation please. I'm at my wits end
My build:
CPU: Ryzen 3600
Mobo: Msi Tomahawk B450
GPU: 1080 Evga SC edition
Ram: XPG Gimmix 2x8 GB ram
PSU: Corsair VS550 550w PSU
PS: Tried multiple drivers from 2021 to 2020 nothing works, even fresh windows installation.
