3D printed fan bracket for the EKWB backplate for the EVGA FTW3 ultra. RAM on the back side of the 3090 was the last thing that really got hot in this rig. All nice and cool now. Also fits the standard backplate.

I added some more pics. Somehow I can't upload more. File size restriction. Dual 360 coolers running cyberpunk in 4K all maxed out at 48C. Backplate gets up to 42C down from 76C.

That's so cool! Was that a 3d printed plan you created or downloaded? What case is that too btw? The limit is for all pics in a single post I believe, so if you made 2 replies, you could add twice the pics

My own designs. I use Fusion 360 and a Railcore printer to design and print the PC frame and bracket. Convenient, you can build whatever you want and need. The bracket is here in case anyone needs it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4773792

this isn't limited to just the ekwb block is it? can it be used with a stock grill?

Probably you could use it with the stock plate. But only the screws at both ends would hold it in place. The attachments in the middle are only exposed if you remove the stock plate.

You're awesome... too bad I only have an elegoo mars. Have to break it up heh. Noticed the crazy case. Would never fit with my setup. I'm gonna have to modify everything, but its a great starting point.

Very cool! I think I have some old waterblock around I could chop up. The fans take care of it though for now.

It doesn't extend beyond the card and is 1 Unit high. Should be easy to glue together at the section dividers. How is the temp stability of the resins?

I have a temp anomaly to figure out first "https://forums.evga.com/3090-FTW3-Ultra-temperature-question-m3226862.aspx" ^^^ why cant I link to other posts here? Im pretty sure resins are stable at higher temps. It will interfere with my memory and chipset heatsink I need to pull it out quite a bit

On the standard backplate only the outer most screws will hold it place.

What did you make this with? PETG or ABS?
If you used PETG? how is it holding up so far?
PETG is stable up to to 80C. I used atomic filament carbon fiber PETG. Any PETG is fine. ABS (100C) if you can print it without shrinkage would also work. Temps never go above 50C now. PLA will get soft at 60C and should not be used.
