Big thanks for the notify links; they worked long before the product pages did, and I’m in the door at 9:02:59 and 9:07:17 respectively.
Whether it’ll matter in the slightest remains to be seen. I was late to the party for the 3080, but I have 11am launch-day 3060 Ti registrations that haven’t been pinged, despite the spreadsheet showing a lot of folks that claim they got theirs despite having a notification set days later.

I'm so confused, what does "skipped" mean in the queue? Cuz basically 80% of the people in the 3060ti ftw ultra just got skipped (including me).

Sure, and if you're dedicated to the cause you might find a way around it. However, most people who might be inclined to throw another in the cart to flip because it looks like easy money AREN'T going to send it to their ex-wife or some other assorted address. Once they can't just send it to their front door, it turns into more hassle than it's worth and they drop the idea. So I suspect the limit does have a real impact even if it doesn't stop Scalper Inc from taking more than their fair share.
For your average person, this is true. But you might be surprised at the lengths some people will go. I read this years ago, and it still fascinates me. I'm not saying this happens here, but it happens in a lot of similar one per household situations. It does require money to start up though, so it's not quite as simple as the below. There seems to be people in these area that set up massive amounts of PO Boxes and try and scam the system. You will for example get 50 claims for one small town in Whatsit, MS. I guess there are families in these small towns whose entire living comes from the proceeds of 'class action farming.'

Oh, and on the best buy mess, yesterday they were showing two PNY cards for $625 and $630 respectively. They’ve since been disappeared, but that was eyebrow-raising, to say the least.

Got both the 3060s - Order placed - I used enewt's code. Probably hook up my brother-in-law with the 3655. Still want a 3080 but maybe I'll just wait until the 5000 series lol. Thanks everyone.

Probably not going to be a whole lot of difference. That being said boils down to how long you think you want to wait. I'm thinking 30 mins is gonna be a little while. I'd say the $60 is well worth it.

The spreadsheets often contain erroneous information as they are self-reported and subject to user error. I do not refer to them in my tracking effort...I think they cause more confusion than help, in general. alin_toaga
