Why have the XC3 3080s barely budged from mid-September? Is EVGA deprioritizing it's production in favor of the FTWs or something? The XC3 is the only card that fits in my ITX case so my waiting continues...

ever think about getting an external graphics card? they make the housing for it and I hear USB3.1 can handle it, im sure its not as latency free as PCIE3 or 4 but its something.

No those external graphics cards are terrible compromises for laptops

I have more than a few of these emails dating back to January. Stock is just as scarce for them as it is for others.

i mean I should get it. I was like #7000 and they claim they have 7400 coming in. heres to hope.

Yeah we will get them eventually, just don't set your heart on that date. I was around 300 on the EVGA 3060 tis now about 3k. ETA just keeps moving out. If the date moves they will usually email you the date after the ETA in the morning. I do have one outstanding however they have still not emailed about, I think they are waiting for info from the manufacturer (gigabyte). Figured its free to get in line with them might as well jump into a few lines.

My friends, today we gather to pray, to beg, to wish and want together for large drops. For more lives to be touched with the satisfaction, the joy, the GLORY that is the 3000 series cards. That the next tears that they shed shall be tears of joy as they open their packages, and to feel a wave of relief and happiness as they touch their new cards for the first time. That they may feel the satisfaction that comes with slowly pulling the protective plastic off of the logo, and with locking their new card into place for the very first time, confirming its rightful place within their rigs. That their old GPUS who have fought so hard to bring them hours of entertainment shall find peace in their retirement, perhaps on a nearby shelf or podium to bring back memories of games past.

Simply wrong. No more complex than that. To the point I would say it is completely ridiculous.

I just got an email for another 3070. Card purchased for a friend. but looks like decent movement on the 3767 today.

I am beyond sick and tired of seeing constant movements on 3090s and 3070s, and barely ever anything for the 3080s.

I learned a few generations ago that focus is always placed on the higher end variants in this case the FTW3's. If you're looking for any of the XC3 cards good luck, the margins aren't there. Since AIB's can only ship a small amount of gpu's at the moment due to supply they are focusing on their money makers. I watch everyday 3090's dropping regularly but no 3975 been waiting since beginning of Oct. It is what is, nothing we can do except wait, refresh pages constantly, or buy from scalpers.

I'm wondering what took you so long to decide to buy or not?
 
I myself signed up last week for 7 cards in the shuffle and was chosen for the Sapphier 6900XT Nitro, bought the card within 1 hour of receiving the email for a friend and he received it on Saturday.
