So much for supposed ramp-up, I guess. Neither GN or EVGA said anything after Jensen's statement so I figure a realignment was happening somewhere, and with Nvidia giving EU the middle finger and throwing their heaping mess onto Best Buy of all place's lap, my expectations for October aren't exactly high, lol. Really not sure what's going on. My only consolation is that I'm still in the early hours of the 17th, so I guess once cards actually start to come through regularly it'll be a matter of time, but, yeesh. If we're still halfway through 7:00AM and still only on one card by Friday, then big yikes. Tons of people will probably get their queue card right around when there's no need for a queue.

This was my observation a while back, that the queue system will eventually dissolve. So if someone is not in SEP 16/17/18, by the time it get's to them, they won't need it anymore. The question is, what date does that happen and when does one say "I cannot wait on the queue"? It is basically forcing people in the queue to keep trying to buy any card they can get their hands on... Not saying the queue is bad, it's great, it's just not ideal for people when they have no sense of times/expectations. I want to say, I am before noon on 9/17, I can stop trying/competing with others, and just wait my 2-3 weeks, but I cannot, because it might be months. Again, I am really happy EVGA is doing this, but it is not going to help relieve pressure until the queue is moving and providing people with the card they ultimately want.

On Twitter he said it would be late this week at best or next week. Didn’t specify which xc3 though.

This is so true. It would be nice to get a production amount and eta based on your position in the queue at that people can know if they can just chill or should still be on the lookout for other options.

3080 FTW's and 3090 FTW's are this week (Jacob didn't specify Ultra/Non-Ultra though; maybe in some other reply but I haven't seen it yet). EVGA doesn't know exactly what date they're dropping due to many many factors (i.e. shipping delay, customs, etc. etc.)

Yeah, I'm before noon too, but like you said that could mean anything at this rate. What's worse is that none of the other cards are dividing demand like I had hoped because... they aren't being sold, lol. Weirdly. By the queue being pointless, I mean it stretching out so long that we finally hit the 18th in February, tons of people drop off the list from other sources, and Nvidia formally announces new GPUs or finally gets production under control and at that point you might as well stay in the queue if you want one but it's not like it's doing you any favors. I keep telling people the same in reddit, I think October will be a really good marker for the immediate future, probably out through to Jan/Feb. Right now it's not looking good at all.

I see only 1 person on the list receiving email today (10/12/2020) for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra, and they registered on 09/17/2020 at 7:26:11am apparently. Nobody on the 3090 FTW3 Ultra list has received email yet. Depending how far down the list you are and how quickly (or slowly) cards are going out, it may be worth waiting for the Ti/Super versions.

Well I would think once they start shipping some 3090 FTW3's you should be in fair shape. I am waiting on the same card and my signup date was 10/1.

It seems highly likely that they are only making the Ultra cards. I find it quite odd that they have two identical cards with a difference of 25mhz and $20. Why not just have one and make things easier? only signed up for the Gaming as well, so if I were to speculate, I won't get any card this year since I don't think I want the XC3(which seems to be delayed again). It's in EVGA's best interest to only make Ultra cards. I would have signed up for it had I known they wouldn't make Gaming cards. Pretty annoying, but it's fine.

Jacob also has stated they are getting large shipments either weekly or biweekly. What he means by large is anyone's guess.

Is there a way to find out where you are in the queue to get an idea of how long your wait will be? like, We value you as a customer, please stay in the queue for the next available card. Your estimated wait time is 3 weeks and 2 days. Is this possible?

Signed up on 9/18 and seriously considering just canceling my step-up and waiting to see how much the Ti version will cost. I'll have to decide soon since the return period is almost up on my 2070 Super.

I don't know why people keep thinking this magical Ti version is going to happen. It makes no sense, when you consider just how very little difference there is between the 3080 and 3090 for gaming purposes. More ram isn't going to matter prior to Hopper, and they might be able to squeeze out a 5% improvement over the base 3080 for an additional $200 - $300. At best, Nvidia might actually do a revised model where they get to use the 7nm node as they had originally planned and gambled (and lost) on, so we might get a card that has less power draw and slightly more headroom for overclocking, but it won't be a difference like it was with the 1080 to 1080 Ti, or 1080 Ti to 2080 Ti.

No one truly knows and the Reddit spreadsheets are worthless now. You'll have to just read some of the responses here to see who's still waiting for their card and what their notification date/time is. And remember, each card's queue is different. You'll need to match up your date/time to someone else with the exact same model.

There is no official list, and if there was, this thread should not speak of it. From the comments here, you should get a pretty good idea of where you are at. 9/16 - Golden, 9/17 before 8AM - Keep an eye on your email, 9/17 from 8 til noon - Dont sell your current card yet but stay alert, rest of 9/17&18 - Stay tuned and hope for some big shipments, Everyone else - Settle in, it could be a while. At least this is how I see it. Hope that helps.

FTW3 gaming will become readily available, when the Ultra is nearly completed on que or mostly done with the que. The point of the gaming was to make you spend the extra on the ultra.
