I am signed up for the FTW3 Ultra 3090 on 9/26 at 7:47:04 AM PT. I wonder if I I’ll be cable to get an email this week.
Yeah should be interesting. I am sure a lot of the folks that had clicked on auto-notify have already gotten another 30xx card, so that should move along somewhat. However I am also sure some of those will go ahead and take the card and try to resell it at higher price once they have it.
I am hoping the 3090 cards - in my case the 3090 FTW3 Ultra - are not quite as backlogged as the 3080 cards.
I did not do the auto-notify thing until 10/1 as I did not think it would work anyway so I am sure I am looking at some time before I get the notification to purchase.
Well, it's still a 10% performance for 115% of money over 3080 card, so probably won't be.

My apologies, I will stay on topic, didn't mean to cross a line. I think everyone is just so excited about these products and I am trying to be helpful. I have been using EVGA stuff since my first build and you guys are my go-to brand for GPUs and PSUs. Having this new process really makes you guys the envy of all the MFGs, I hope it wins you even more lifelong customers, because you already have me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have something to wipe off my nose lol. Either way, love EVGA and how you do things, I will play by the rules.

I signed up for two cards, the FTW3 Ultra and the XC3 Gaming. I'm interested in keeping the FTW3 Ultra for myself, but would still like to buy the XC3 Gaming as a gift for one of my friends since I'm fairly high in both those queues. I signed up for both on the day they released. Would I be allowed to purchase both? Yes I legitimately want to buy it as a gift. I'm not going to scalp it. **** scalpers.
Make sure to order in your friends name so when they register the product and upload the invoice they are the "original" owner. Has anyone heard if this queue system will run until it is cleared? Or at some point it will dissolve? I guess it may resolve on it's own, but I personally would like to buy direct from EVGA if possible, I assume they get more of the profit that way.

Yeah that's my thought too, that it will resolve naturally based on stock availability and isn't going anywhere soon. Just wondering if there's a chance in a month or so that EVGA says OK, we have filled enough of these, we are going back to normal. Seems unlikely, but, I would hate to see that happen.

Wouldn't see a reason even then. EVGA would probably take that huge stock, throw out invites to everyone left on the list and then probably start processing step-ups before releasing the rest of the card as regular store stock like the week after. Not that it matters; unless things seriously pick up over the next few weeks this queue will last through the rest of the year.

Even then - I'm sure EVGA would run thru the existing signups. Wouldn't make sense to do something this awesome and then say hey, we aren't going to see it thru till the end. Even if it's just an email that no one clicks on - at least they kept their word. I could see them stopping the signups and saying the notify list will not add anyone new as cards are becoming more available.

They need to target getting past week 1 9/17-9/24 within a month of this system going live i.e. by 11/4. A lot may change on 10/28 - 29, hopefully for the better.
