 'on order' is not all that inspirational. They can order as much as they want, but the orders for everyone is being filled in drips and drabs.

Samsung is contracted for fabbing nvidia chips and they recently made a big contract for increased production of chips but won't take full effect till a few months from now

As someone who has worked at a company with their own fab and another very large semiconductor company that owned their own fabs around the world...a year is very short.
 
It is also TREMENDOUSLY expensive to own and operate your own fab, which is why most companies don't do it. Even apple, qualcomm, and others send their stuff to TSMC or Samsung to get made. Honestly I am not 100% but doesn't nVidia also send their stuff to TSMC? So TSMC has apple, amd, nvidia and dozens of other companies sending them orders...
 
It probably doesn't help that Ryzen is doing well, apple made their own CPU (TSMC), and 2 new game platforms.  That along with maybe yields can produce the perfect storm we're in.

I just snagged the LG OLED48. Looking forward to wall-mounting it and feeding it some PC games!


You will love it. I got the 65" back in October when it went on sale at Costco. My biggest complaint about it is that I didn't purchase it sooner. By far the best tv/monitor I have ever had :)




Sa-weet!  So pumped to get it going!  I have to wait on a wall mount I ordered.  It will be in tomorrow.

Just being realistic. Nothing so far has indicated EVGA has magically ramped up production on these specific cards and no point getting hyped up only to be disappointed time again.

MLK Jr. Day here in the US.  My company celebrates it as a holiday.  As a result, I am going to try to get out and about a bit...which likely means going somewhere to be alone with nature.  I am not sure whether EVGA will be open today, but here's hoping that they drop some "invite to purchase" emails...!
