Any relief we thought the NVIDIA demand would receive from the AMD gpu launch looks to be speculative at best. Apparently ASI, one of the biggest distributors in North America, has very little inventory to distribute to its retail customers (if this spreadsheet is to be believed). Hunker down folks, the 30 series shortage is going to continue for a bit yet. Believe in the queue; "This is the way."

jjmonte20 Ah dang, guess I've got a while. Looking for FTW3 ultra, but I put my spot in oct 6th
The 3080 FTW3 Ultra queue should start moving at a much faster "rate" in terms of the time being covered by each drop, once it gets past the launch days (17th/18th) because after that, less and less people queued each day.

For the 3080? I also have 10/06 for that card, I'm not expecting it in 2020...

I hope CP 2077 is released before Xmas, but if it takes until 2021 to get a FINISHED game, whatever. I didn't appreciate being faked out by Larian's faux release of Baldur's Gate 3. It ended up being an announcement of a massive beta test of the first 5% of the game with the actual completed game still at least 9 months out. That's fine, I will wait until it's done. A beta test is better than releasing an unpolished game followed by a "sequel" that is nothing more than a patched version of the previous game. Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, for example.

The silence in the thread also suggests to me that the cards that dropped this morning were stragglers from yesterday's stragglers (poor little cards...). I guess we should expect that as over time more and more folks in the queue are likely to have found cards but not cancelled their remaining auto-notifies. A good omen, I guess.... mudbone91 If anyone wants to remove all my listings on the notification spreadsheet they can. I have removed all my notifications. I was keeping the 3080 Ultra just in case the 3090 I received didn't work out (naive I know:-) FYI - I do not like the COD Black Ops game I got free with my card that was ordered on the Oct 27. I like the free Warzone game that I have been playing all along but not Black Ops. The larger map on Warzone is better in my opinion. Who knows maybe eventually it will grow on me but just wish I had received the original game that was advertised with the card. Not too happy with Nvidia for screwing me out of it.
At least you got a free game. I've seen rumors that they will have warzone and Black Ops playable together. Does the 3080 make a huge difference at least? I am jumping from an eight year old 780ti that burned out on me to a 970 temporarily from offerup and now waiting for a 3080 to start my completely brand new build.

I already removed my auto-notifies for the 3080 XC's and I am going to do the same for the 3897. My time stamp is less than 3 hours away so I'm getting close, but I don't really want an air cooled GPU. Thus, someone else will get an auto-notify email for a 3080 FTW Ultra one drop sooner than they would have otherwise.

I don't have one, so I cannot say for certain. I am hopeful that it will make a huge difference; it cannot just be my failing fast-twitch skills as the reason why I continue to get worse at Warzone, PUBG and EFT. I am on an almost 4 month hiatus from shooters until I can get my desktop pulled together...I need my eventual new card to make a difference.

As i said my main issue is lack of transparency. I would really like to see EVGA come and say each Monday which cards will drop when and how many of them. For example: "Om Tuesday ww will release batch of 50 3080 Ultras, 30 Blacks and 40 3070 Black cards. On Thursday we will drop 20 3070 Ultras and 20 3090s...". That way we could at least know something and not bother Jacob on twitter and hoping that users will post that they got card so we know timings.

I think we would all love that; it would make it a LOT easier. But, as we discussed in the thread yesterday, EVGA has competing populations for the cards and they are not static. Some days, they might need more cards for RMA or a rush shipment to a retail partner. Other days, it might be our turn or the step-up queue needs some relief. I have to believe that they are doing the best they can and, given the chaos outside the four walls of the EVGA queue system, I will continue to trust that our interests with the EVGA queue arbiters are aligned (for the most part). I think we would be losing our minds if EVGA had to change from what they might have announced at the beginning of the week (also, because we don't know how many signed up when...the spreadsheets are just a subset...the announcement might just reveal how tight the supply is...and for competitive reasons, EVGA doesn't need to be sharing that publicly). [Apologies for the train-of-thought brain dump...I need some caffeine.] Also, EU needs some love too...in context, we North Americans have been very fortunate with the cards-for-queues allocation. I want my card as much as we all want our cards, but it would be nice if it felt a little less "have" and "have not" among the regions.

I'm going to wait til I can actually queue for one, wait for it to get here, and test it for at least 2 weeks, then I'll resell my current 3080. Wanna be sure I don't get a dud before I ditch this 3080 because it has had absolutely zero issues, overclocks fairly well, and undervolts very well as well (.994v @ 2070Mhz, .875v @ 1980MHz). I'm not giving that up until I'm 100% sure I won't have any issues with the Hybrid.

Thanks for reporting back. As an aside, that is a whole 3 seconds of movement (so far) from the prior drop. If your deadline isn't before Dec 4 (2021), I am confident that you will get your card in time. Seriously, though, you are so close...I would keep the faith and continue to wait...but it will be awhile. You are still in the midst of the launch window.

I do have to laugh... on another forum I participate in there were several people who left the EVGA que anticipating the "ease" of getting a 6000 series card on launch. I did sit on the fence of saying to hedge your options and stay on the que to encouraging them to leave so I can get my card faster. I just kept quiet. I will say this those 6000 series cards are ugly, made for a case without any glass in it for sure.
