New guy here also, I think you need to specify the specific model your queue was?

I'm assuming it is probably this one given the date and timestamp. 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897-KL 12/29/2020 16:58:58

Yes, it's always recommended to provide your SKU with your notification. 3897 sounds like the best estimate. The second best is 3755 (currently at 12/28/2020 14:12:04), but that hasn't reported in 7 weeks.

Time what right? There are plenty of cards in the DIY right now, although EVGA is scalping them. https://www.evga.com/products/diy/

I think accusing EVGA of scalping them is a bit of an overstatement. They are selling them at MSRP...BUT...they require that you buy them in a bundle. Think of it as a similar business model to the PS and Xbox consoles at launch where your retailer mandates that you purchase the console in a bundle. It's not scalping...but it isn't optimal either (especially when they offer the specific model in the DIY tool that already has an existing queue). Maybe we should call it bundling.

There are people waiting in queue for these cards, but EVGA would rather sell a bunch of other components in order to buy them. That's scalping in my eyes.

You are correct! I just want to buy a card and EVGA is my best bet for the card I want. Though I don't want to spend an extra $400 or more for extra components I don't need. Just let me buy the card I want. It's been a whole year and I still can't buy the card I want. I love evga, this just a wee bit scummy in my eyes!

Happy Friday! The Shuffle is over and the scalper prices are letting inventory accumulate on the shelves . No 90ti in sight and we are left with leaks about the 40 series. Let's hope this new norm is short lived.

The graphics cards are at MSRP but the rest of the components you need to add in order to get the card are overpriced in most cases thus you end being scalped. For example, I was looking into the EVGA G6 850W PSU, in the DIY is priced at 180USD, here in newegg Canada you can get the same PSU for 120CAD, less than 100USD.

There queues for the cards in the DIY aren't very long. These aren't the cards with the very long queues where people have been sitting for 1+ years.

slight exaggeration dont you think, you can get the 3070 ti at normal price, and for an extra $120 you can get a psu, and a mouse and neither one is overpriced,(or something else if you'd like). Just because people can't afford a few extra dollars to get their gpu doesnt mean anyone is scalping you. After the prices and availability during this last year and a half, complaining about an extra $120 (where you do get items to make up for the $120 ) seems like people would rather complain than get their pc up and running.

That's not true. EVGA has had the 3090 FTW3 and the 3070 Ti FTW3 on there, looking at the queue, those cards are still sitting at 09 of 2021 on the queue date and the 3080 12GB queue happened for what, 20 min? Some 3080 12GB cards I think never even had a queue offered on them.

I have been waiting over 400+ days for the opportunity to buy a single GPU. They have the models I would love to buy, but I need to buy items I already have just to simply get one? Come on! That's a bit much. I have been told to wait in the line to buy one, but it seems my card is probably not going to happen at this point.

Yes, the queues are from 09/2021 so 6 months but those queues are nearing the end. It feels like people expect EVGA to ignore all other channels and wind down the queues before they sell another card. That's a bit unfair. The queues would empty and then immediately fill up again when they are reopened. EVGA probably have a number of cards allocated to the queues and the rest go through other channels. My guess is that the cards were being bundled at resellers who have since cut orders. NewEgg had the 3070ti unbundled for $859.99 yesterday and it was in stock for at least 30 minutes.

Deion12 I refuse to purchase items I already have. That's the problem. I bought the power supply, bought the mouse. I just need the GPU! Praise the THE GPU!
Well here you go: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=12G-P5-4879-KL The "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING" can be bought without a bundle. Edit: The "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING" too. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=12G-P5-4878-KL
Well Snap! I see. I stand corrected! However these are the ones I want! 12G-P5-4877-KL 12G-P5-3967-KR 10G-P5-3897-KL The children I am looking for!

kram36 There is a queue for every card in the DIY except the 1030.
Not exactly accurate. A few of those are placeholder rows in that the cards were announced, so I set up rows in anticipation of queues forming...but EVGA has yet to open up registrations for those cards. You can see them with 00:00:00 designations in the timestamp column (e.g., the 12gb hybrids and hcs).

I did say "Some 3080 12GB cards I think never even had a queue offered on them." https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3533557
