It's essay time This thread has started on October 5, 2020. Since then, it has amassed almost 2,000 pages on desktop and almost 6,000 on mobile. Enewt keeps updating the latest notify dates on business days, and I keep updating my spreadsheets every Friday (links in the signature). This made me wonder: when will the updates on the 30 series cards become obsoleted? Another way to frame the question is this: Will the queue die with the 30 series or stay into the 40 series? That will obviously depend on supply and demand. Ethereum is switching to Proof-Of-Stake sometime in 2022, which will curb the demand slightly. However, estimates for the end of the chip shortage varied wildly, and the most recent articles say there is no end in sight. The most optimistic plausible statement is to say we are past the peak of the chip shortage. So it looks like the queue system for new products is here to stay for the 40 series, unless Nvidia waits for the chip shortage to end. Another factor is how long the 30 series cards will last, at least the queue 2.0 ones. Measuring based on the longevity of previous series of cards might help. Older cards have been re-introduced to help alleviate the shortages. EVGA is still selling some GTX 16 series cards, as well as the RTX 2060 in both 6gb (original) and 12gb variations (the 20 series ones are out of stock currently). The 12gb 2060 is the latest 20 series card to come out, doing so on December 7, 2021. That's a little more than 3 years after the original 20 series cards (September 20, 2018). So far, the 30 series line lasted for a little over a year, first coming out in September 2020. That means the queue could last into 2024, assuming the "3 years after" 30 series card is released and is out for at least three months. Also, the 3090 Ti has yet to get a release date. In summary, the thread and notify trackers will last for the foreseeable future. It will likely last at least another year for sure, possibly two more years. And it will overlap with the 40 series queue tracking, assuming the 40 series doesn't wait for the chip shortage to end.

As stated above, I'm in the queue for both the 3753-KR and the 3755-KL. Sad that the KR card is dead, but hopefully that KL card is still okay. If not, I'm back at square one.

So, I recently entered the "queue" (or at least I think I am, I have a notify which I think is the same thing) for the $329 USD RTX-3050. I entered the queue at 6:06 AM PST on the 27th. I also registered my GTX-1050 TI and 750 TI a few weeks ago, (but as of now I have 0 "points"). It should also be noted that I have purchased no 30-Series GPUs at all before. How long can I expect roughly to be waiting for the link? Will I be in a good place in the queue at all, or will I be doomed to be waiting years for a card?
The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

I have no idea when you will get it. But I just had another idea on how to track the progress of a 3.0 queue. How about we track the lowest EVGA score to get a certain SKU?

I recently got my notify for the kingpin 3090 only to find out a 3090 TI will be released soon. Is there a way for me to return my KINGPIN for the new 3090 TI on release?

I have emailed Customer Support about my queues not holding out hope that they will respond so I'll ask here. 10G=P5-3895-KR 10G-P5-3881-KL These are the two cards that I have on hold the KL since Sept 2020 the KR since Oct 2020. I am wanting a 3080 not a 3080 TI. I thought there were no more queues allowed anymore so if I remove these 2 then what? Totally screwed I am. I have my build parts coming in today for a 10th generation Asus Rog build thankfully I have a 1080 that I can use for now but that leaves my other build pretty much dead. Just Saw a youtuber video of him going through Ebay's Video cards with people selling 10, 20,30 even 100 GPU bulk buys which is Fing ridiculous and I blame NVidia for this huge mess say what you want. What a disaster.

The 4000 series will not come out in 4 months. Maybe a paper launch in very late November.

We will see. Don't rule out anything in this market! I'm still hoping for a 3080, but if it takes much longer, might defer and wait for 4080. The 40xx series will be much more power hungry, will be using an EVGA 1200W PSU for my pending Z690 Classified build.

Looks like the last 3895 card recorded on the list has a Sept 2020 date so you are not that far away from getting that card, that is if they are still producing that card. I have a feeling they are not producing the KR cards anymore, and if they are, they are not releasing them in the queue.

They likely won't open the queues for a while. Basically, it's random. For now, the only queue open is the 3050 XC Gaming card (3553). https://www.evga.com/prod...aspx?pn=08G-P5-3553-KRAlso, three SKUs managed to reach those who signed up on September 25, 2021, just 2 days before the cutoff date of September 27, 2021. Those are: 3797 (3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra, released June 2021) 3657 (3060 XC Gaming, released February 2021) 3959 (3080 Ti XC3 Ultra HC, released June 2021) And yet I don't see those queues opening back up yet. Maybe the chips Nvidia provides will be put into the other SKUs to help move the existing queues.

I'm not sure how useful tracking just the lowest score and timestamps would be for queue 3.0. Because I believe some people with a score of zero have already received a 3050/3080 from the new queue. There are a lot of criteria that would have to be accounted for to track queue 3.0 accurately, mainly: - First-time or multiple-time queue purchaser
- EVGA score
- Number of tiers
- Borderline between tiers
- Registration timestamp
And it doesn't appear that EVGA is interested in sharing the tier breakdown details either. So my only recommendation would just be to create a spreadsheet that tracks all registrants that self-report while including their details. One example of something similar would be the spreadsheet someone created for the 3090 step-up queue: https://forums.evga.com/New-Unofficial-3090-StepUp-Queue-Thread-m3135203.aspxBut instead of "Step 1", "Step 2", "Step 3", the columns would go something like "EVGA score", "first-time or multiple-time queue purchaser", "registration timestamp". That way the folks would be able to interpret or make an educated guess as to how far away they are in the queue, by viewing the spreadsheet and sorting the data according to people with similar scores as themselves. Hopefully someone is willing to create a spreadsheet with all those details, but it definitely won't be me!

I could make a spreadsheet like that. Now would be a good time to start it, since all the products that use queue 3.0 have not been out for a month yet. LMK if there is any other thread where people post queue 3.0 drops.

It's easy, just go to "My EVGA" and then "My Notifies" or simply https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp.

Due to the constant repeat questions I have compiled a short FAQ thread here. I'm sure I've missed some repeat questions, but hopefully it'll slow down the incoming repeats at least a little bit. I'm pretty rusty on all of the forum stuff, and just trying to help/contribute. Please feel free to add to it or pm me with other constant questions and I will add as we go.

Hoping I'll get that invite, it's such a pretty card. A HC FTW3 has been on my list for a while, but the 80 12gb HC and 80 ti HC are just so expensive, I can't justify that expensive haha.
