I don't think there is such an email or heads up for elites. I thought they mentioned that in the 3.0 thread. I could be incorrect however.

Yeah I don't think I've ever seen an email but a 24hr window before non-elite queue. Kind of mute when the queue isn't open real long.

Hate to break to you but the fact that there are LHR cards and they still fetch a premium tells me that crypto miners aren't the primary reason for expensive new cards. I am still with you on older (non LHR) cards being overpriced though. I would love to sell my old 1660 for a premium but it is getting warranty repairs done and I haven't gotten it back yet. I hope it comes back soon so that I can offload it.
Just an FYI since you seem to be from Canada. Memory Express (if you have one near you) carry cards at MSRP and they do frequent drops. I was able to get a card at MSRP that way...still expensive but not scalper pricing.
Oh i know. I dont pay attention to it anymore. Ive moved on to other things. Funny you say that, Memory Express just opened up a new store close to me. I just walked in there to see how the store is. Walked out with an order for a 3080 Ti FTW3  . Im still in the queue. Im just waiting who comes first. Memory Express or EVGA queue.

You will have two shipping choices and you should choose the less expensive as it changed nothing when i paid more a few times. For QC it took 24 to 48 hours from California (48 hours lately), via UPS, which is crazy fast i think :-D You will receive a ups invoice to pay the taxes (full) and a 10 dollar brokerage fee.

Thanks for reporting! I plan to do exactly what you did when my 3897 (3080 FTW3 Ultra) notify arrives (report the drop, refuse the card). I have a 3080 ti, too (3967).
