I gotta say the only reason I got into the 3080 12G queue was because I did an upgrade on PC's CPU from an old I5-6600k to a Ryzen 7 5800x. Also ended up getting an EVGA 850 watt power supply which after registering allowed me to become an Elite member.

I wasn't expecting to wake up in a post-apocalyptic queue today but here we are.  Enewtan Joe witnesses.

For the rest of us who are still digesting the news, not much more to add to today's events. Just a thought -- if all of the wannabe crypto miners would just follow this dude's lead, we gamers and pc enthusiasts would have more access to 30 series cards and all be better off (and Elon's brand would head deeper into the "I talk about saving the environment because it is good business, not because I actually care about it").  
 
Tomorrow is going to be an interesting one...lots of epeen-ing about individual EVGA scores (see the Queue 3.0 rules above if this is the first you are hearing about it). Please bring a lot to drink...I have a feeling it is going to get SALTY.

enewt, thanks for keeping this thread alive and updating your queue summary regularly. I've been watching it for close to three months now, and I am getting closer to my date. I can't wait to upgrade from my current 970 to a 3080! My date is only 9 days away from the most recent notify for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. You're work has given me hope!

Did the 3767-KL really move almost 2 months? I've been waiting for nearly a year for a 3070, and haven't received a notification yet.

Thats strange. I was looking yesterday at exactly that time window and I couldnt see anything, except the "Elitze Member Exclusive". So I guess the chances are very slim for someone thats not an Elite Member

So it's 1/12/22, when should we be able to see our "Scores" and from where?.
Also, when will the 3080 12g queue open up for the elite, from what I read, the early access was open for a brief time yesterday, will it be open again for the elite or just for the general public (when)?

I would like to know the answers to these as well.

I personally think they are moving in the right direction here, allowing "everybody's Elite" seemed to be very problematic.  Now giving people who actually buy/use their products some credit is moving in the right direction. 
 
I wish Best Buy would do the same for Elite Plus members...  I can buy $10K worth of appliances and electronics from them in a year, but have to wait in line with people who never shop there for a GPU. 

That is incredibly frustrating, Elite Plus should get first dibs or priority in line. Total Tech gets some front of the lines things, like Pokémon cards (whoopty do in my opinion) I saw the other day, but no priority for PS5 (trying to grab one for a friend) or graphics cards. They really should be rewarding the people who consistently spend a good amount of money there.

The thing is, even if I spent, say, 10k in the same store in a year, there's no way for me to find out how many others who spent 100k or maybe a million on the same store each year. I can nag all day but there are always bigger guys than me.

I am hoping they include a rank with or even in place of EVGA Score.  I think rank is way less incendiary than publishing the actual scores.  Rank is also what matters with the benefits in Q3.

I agree. Also rank should at least give the user / consumer an idea how he stacks up against the rest of the world. That should reduce the number of people boasting they spent huge amount of money and yet say EVGA doesn't give a crap.
 
On a side note, I don't think EVGA would provide this info but would be nice to get the weight of each category (like in %). So a consumer would know where to focus on to improve his/her standing. All I can decrypt based on the sequence of the wordings is scoring would put more weight on the type of product bought (it's still a business after all) and the least score weight would be given for community contribution.

So when will queue reopen? I thought 9 pst today for new 3080?
