I don’t know where members are, but if anyone is near Columbus, I’m at the Micro Center right now and there is literally a case full of 3090s, 3080 TIs, and 3070s. No unicorn 3080s though, but still! Tons of EVGA and ASUS.

Unfortunately the EU do not have Micro Center :/

Is there any Canadian here or someone who knows how much is the shipping cost + import taxes - fees for a 3080 to Canada?
 

Shipping cost varies real time, from around 26 usd up to 36 usd (2 shipping choices). Dont bother choosing the higher one it wont be quicker and it wont save one of the 2 taxes. Once, UPS messed up (they chose the wrong goods code) and i paid only one tax, but it was luck, other times i paid the 2 taxes. Dont forget to add the paypal fee or your credit card fee (exchange). That said, it was always worth it to buy through evga queue vs buying in canada.

The shipping price will definitely vary by location, so take care with the "cheap" shipping options with UPS.  They have a product price tiered brokerage rate on the cheap and free shipping options.  The expedited and worldwide saver have a $0 brokerage fee.

 
For myself, shipping to Alberta is in the $70-85USD range for expedited/saver, so an order over $650USD will actually cost more in brokerage fees than the fast shipping.  Not to mention it will take 1-2 weeks longer to arrive.
 
Regardless of brokerage fees, you will still have a COD charge for your appropriate taxes (GST/PST) and a think a few dollars for customs clearance.  You can sign up for a free UPS account and pay for this while package is still in transit with cc, which is much more convenient & safe than handing the delivery driver your credit card (and the sticker shock of COD charge).  You can also change delivery dates, but they will charge you $3 to do so (it can sometimes be free if you call instead).
 
Even if the total cost difference works out to $20 more for expedited/saver, is +1-2 weeks delivery and a much bigger COD charge worth it?
 

 
The brokerage fee is a total ripoff. You can always go through self clearing the package at customs yourself and avoid that IIRC. Any experience with that specifically for UPS? I have cleared packages before since I live close to a customs office, so it isn't a hassle for me, but I don't know how to tell UPS not to do it for me.

How many people actively post their drops? Am I screwed when it comes to my queue positions, or can the list move multiple times without being updated? Thanks for the input!

According to Enewt's list, you are getting close on the 3060TI but the 3751 you might be waiting a while for.  Check the list and postings Enewt post to get an idea of close you are.  His list are based on user info provided by forum users and those who got their notifications.  It's not an exact list, but it does give you an idea of where you are on the list.

Anyway to check my position in line?

There is no way to no exactly what your position in the queue is. However, you can check to see how (approximately) close you are to being notified.
 
What you want to do is go to your My Notifies section and find your timestamp(s). Then compare that timestamp with enewt's reports, one of them being here: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3504569
 
for example, if you were in the queue for a 3070 XC3 ULTRA (SKU: 3755-KL), and your timestamp was:

Then you would look at enewt's post and see how close you were. The time shown is the last reported user time to receive a notification:

So in the above example, you would know that the queue would need to move about 9 more hours to get to you.
 
Please keep in mind that:

• This is only for the NA queue. There is limited info for the EU at element35gaming.
• The info is self-reported, and may not be complete.
• No one knows how fast any of the cards are moving except by the info posted. Some cards may get a big drop one day, then nothing the next two weeks.

Ups cant let me check my full history. In october i paid 10 cad brokerage fee and i wont do it myself for 10 cad. That said you could still phone them and ask to pay by yourself.
I never had a free brokerage fee as far as i remember when i chose to pay "cheap" or expensive shipping option. For Montreal the package comes from california and arrives in  about 1 to 2 days if you are quick to order when you receive the email.
26 to 36 cad shipping for Montreal usually.
That said... what a great service from evga, i had my 2 gpus that i would have never had otherwise... 2 day shipping from california, 10 cad brokerage fee, yes you pay the 2 taxes... great price on gpu. Think about guys that pay 650 cad for a 1070 on ebay canada lol.

Received an email for 3655-kr this afternoon, entered queue 3/23/21, 6:11pm

Wow, 3655 queue is moving quickly. It's too bad EVGA just increased price to $400, before I could get one for closer to MSRP.

Great to see it move though, but I am super bummed about the price honestly. I signed up only for that queue because I am on a budget, and this makes it less worth it, especially since the 3657 has not received the same price bump (unless that is coming). If I knew this was going to happen I would have signed up for the 3657, since at $30 more it is a no brainer. I don't recall the exact price difference previously but I am pretty sure it was 70-80 difference between the 3655 and 3657.

I think price was increased around 10 days ago. I agree that increasing price that much kind of defeats the purpose of the 3060 Black. Wish I had queued for the 3657 too, but hindsight is 20/20. Still a lot lower than buying elsewhere; I'm guessing EVGA noticed that.

I think EU users are ignored :)

By that logic, the 3657 should have gone up by a similar margin since they are basically better binned 3655 with a shield. Alternatively, have the option to bump people from the 3655 to 3657 at the 3657 MSRP.

Today I installed my 3080 ti (3967) into my desktop computer with my friend.  It's certainly larger than the PNY GTX 760 it replaced, though my case is more than large enough for it (it can fit an EATX motherboard if I need it to).  Now my computer can drive my 1080p 240hz monitor at its full potential and edit video in DaVinci Resolve.  Both of which my 2018 ThinkPad could do without modification.

Yeah that's so sad man.. I'm sitting on 2 GTX 1070 on a 3440x1440 monitor.. works pretty well for most games (that support SLI) but an upgrade would be nice tho.. one card > 2
