how can i even get on the list to be notified for a card? everytime i go to the website it says the queue is closed. seems like its all fake to me.
The queues closed over two weeks before you joined the forums because it had been over a year since the queue system started and they still hadn't shipped some from the first day of many of the queues. You're literally 13 months late to the party. On a related note, go check out some new car lots if you have some spare time. It's not a conspiracy against you, it is a global supply shortage and this is just one of the thousands of pinch points as such.

There were EVGA cards on the shuffle today. Best Buy has unannounced but semi-regular drops (look on Reddit for help). The queue is not a guarantee so you should be trying every avenue available to get your card. Your timestamps are rather late to any of the queues that were open at the time. What SKUs are you in queue for?

Yup, I sell cars and it’s a mess. Still get picky buyers who think that they can play the same games as they could 2 years ago. Dealer trade? No those aren’t a thing now. Bonus cash from the manufacturer? Nope. Haggle on price? Sorry, MSRP (and in many areas it’s WELL ABOVE MSRP after the “Market Adjustment” is added on. Good news is banks have never offered better rates on car loans, because they are desperate for income too. My job is easier than ever as long as people actually listen to us. But people are stupid. Oh and scalpers are buying new cars and selling them to Carvana for more than they paid but they only make money if they can talk the dealer price down from MSRP. That’s why top of the line and special rigs are getting HUGE market adjustments. And, by the way, we can take your build order if you’re really picky and have to have it built a certain way but we cannot tell you when it will arrive. 4 weeks to a year, best guess.

I believe that eu.evga.com has no reason to exist. EVGA can make a simple announcement how in Europe it only gives to retailers.
Europe's queue has stopped completely. It would be a different feeling if he had even a small movement but he does not have at all as if eu.evga.com does not exist as if no European has ever entered these queues.
I am no longer waiting for a card, I sold parts of the computer and I will sell the rest because it is bad to have it idle for over a year. I got the PS5 for the kids, I have the laptop, I'm just watching the issue maybe at some point I will read that someone from Europe got a card notification.
There is no reason to buy something from EVGA again. Greek souvlaki  I do not know English I translate with Google .... Sorry.

After being in the queue for various cards since October of 2020, and not able to get just ONE of them so far, that only leads me to believe that their queue system was the biggest scam in gaming electronics history. I'm done with them. I'm removing myself entirely from the queue, and will never purchase another EVGA product ever. Adios EVGA.

dont feel bad he, like everyone else, has had over a year to do his research and figure out why he hasnt gotten a card yet most likely he signed up for the cheaper option of every card, IE the black or xc3 gaming model cards, and with the change in October of 2021 failed to reduce to 2 sku there is such a thing as buying a 3060 and going through stepup to get a 3080 or 3090 ftw3 ultra, for far less total cost then buying from scalper

That's the best one yet.
It is a queue system and not perfect but an option. You really needed to do your homework on the queues to maximize your opportunities but like others have said if the new egg shuffle is an option for you it is a good one to try as well. I won today but didn't order it. Won the option to buy the easter egg DDR5 5600mhz 32gb with a MSI Carbon Z690 board today, but the price was a bit much for the performance I'd get and since I'm pretty much going to keep my 5950 instead of changing it out for the 12900K. I'm going to give my son the 12900k and pair that with a Asus Z690 Strix A that uses DDR4 ram instead of his 5800x/X570 Strix E currently in his build. I won the options to purchase GPUs from the shuffle twice, it's just a matter of the small effort to register and the patience to keep trying.

I have won the chance at a ryzen 5950x and a evga 3080ti ftw3 ultra from the shuffle, but bought neither since I was broke for the cpu, and the gpu was supposed to be for a coworker who decided to wait till next year and wait for the eventual price drop on 3090s, though with the 3090 ti rumored to be coming in January he might get that instead

I won a 5950X and a 3080/mobo bundle on the shuffle. Wish I'd bought the 5950. Bought the gpu bundle and sold it locally to a kid. Used the mobo to build my daughter's rig.

honestly, the combos right now with ddr5, the one with g skill 6000 mem and the asus z690 apex is worth it for the price
look at buildzoids vid on asus z690 lineup and he literally gushes over it due to the VRM components being so beautifully overkill XD
he legit bought it for more then its msrp out of pocket, if you arent familiar with buildzoid, his channel is called Actually Hardcore overclocking

That's fine, but it's not a guarantee. I think everyone by now should be at least a little tired of the constant "I signed up for a card and didn't get it so EVGA is a meany" posts. EVGA sends what they can. It won't be enough to get to everyone. They also send to authorized vendors. Buying from authorized vendors like Best Buy, Newegg, Antonline, etc means that you can get the items at (or at least close to) MSRP - hopefully much sooner than your spot in the queue would allow. If you're not willing to spend a really minimal amount of effort to overcome the adversity that we all face in this rather well-documented global supply meltdown amidst a pandemic then maybe this whole GPU thing is more of a momentary desire rather than a pressing need. And if so, maybe melting down on an internet forum isn't the best way to deal with what is an understandable disappointment.

I watch buildzoiod also. The performance gain I would get by going from my 5950 to the 12900K which was an impulse buy isn't much. It would be better, but the time it would take for me to do it I'd rather give it to my kid. While I love my son, the total cost to upgrade his pc is adding up. What started out as a pretty good air cooled gaming pc using his custom I7 9700K changed recently to a 5800X and a Strix E. While I was at it I changed out his PSU to a 1300 watt EVGA, changed out his NVME drives, case change to O11 Dynamic, and added a full custom loop to his PC. Then on top of that I am going to water block his 3080 with a recently received Optimus block. Most of this stuff I paid for, the only thing he did was cover his step up cost from a 3070 to the 3080 non TI. So I'm already over 3k in his build as is. Adding another DDR5 capable board and DDR5 on top of that makes me cringe a little. I have the Z690 HERO board that was also an impulse buy which I'm keeping around for the 13th gen should I decide to go blue. But based on the cost for now, I'm good with giving him the Strix A with the 12900K and new DDR4 ram versus spending another 300 to 400 bucks more to go with another mid level Z690 board and DDR5. If it was for me, it'd be a no brainer but since I am fine with my 5950 build I'll just sit on the Z690 Hero board for now and see what path I want to take later next year. I actually really like the Apex better than the Hero, but the Hero was available below msrp on black Friday at my local shop so I bought it there thinking I was going to change over at the time.

Agreed with everyone on the Newegg Shuffle. Won it yesterday on the DDR5 / Z690 combo, passed on it since it was out of my price range. I think that was my 5th shuffle win? Wanted to wait until next year for the MoBo upgrade anyway. And I too am getting tired of all the constant salt here in this forum, but I get it. nikoff90 said it best upthread: nikoff90
I would be more likely to say there is a phase of adjustment.
We haven't had a prolonged, widespread shortage of anything in the US since, what...the energy crisis in the 1970s? (People waiting hours just to get gas...fun trip down memory lane for anyone alive at the time. Mini documentaries here and here.) Point being is that we're not used to NOT getting what we want, when we want it at the price we want it. The complaints are folks facing the reality of the situation, and it's not at all pretty. So if people want to get on a soapbox and say their beefs about EVGA/miners/Jensen Huang/Battlefield 2042 or whatever, then they're gonna do whatever. IMHO, they should keep in mind that: - yes, we've already heard it 1000x before, so don't be surprised if you get backlash,
- EVGA is pretty much the only AIB with a queue system (however flawed it might be), and
- you'd probably be more productive trying other methods (Shuffle, Discord, retailer drops, etc.) if you want a card at MSRP. Don't know what to say for EU...
As always, I wish my fellow would-be upgraders the best of luck in securing their gaming goodness.
